Mati is a lovely host, she is beyond lovely and takes care of you like your very own Colombian mother. She is present at the guesthouse all day and every time you arrive back there from an activity she is there wanting to give you coffee or lemonade. She also arranged a cheap tuktuk for us to go to the desert and arranged the jeep back to Neiva to pick us up at her guesthouse. Her breakfasts are also tasty and we can't thank her and her husband enough for making us feel like a part of the family

Cosmos Tatacoa is a very nice hotel calm and clean with a very nice swimming pool, the location is perfect to go visit Tatacoa désert. The owners very professionals ! Super beautiful place in between grey and red deserts, 5 minute walking to Observatory. A lot of plants, great and spacious chilling area with hammocks, coaches etc, parrots in the trees. Super nice and welcoming stuff, delicious meals. Totally would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic property but you need to have the right expectations. The water and electricity are scarce. The accomodation is rustic and has open holes close to the roof so creepy crawlies can be encountered and obviously sound proofing is not the best. But the location is incredible, very close to the "red zone" of Tatacoa and the observatories. Our cottages were spotless and the hotel is well maintained and secure. The food was delicious and we enjoyed hanging out in the open restaurant having a few beers at night. The value for money was excellent and we would definitely visit again.
