Great views and very friendly owner. Lovely tight windy drive to get to the property which adds to the experience. Very narrow streets. Don’t rely on Google Maps for the route as you will get to a dead end. The owner will suggest a main route

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Musee in Gjirokaster and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location of this hotel is simply perfect, as it is situated in the heart of the historical city center. This made it very easy for us to explore the city's famous attractions, such as the Gjirokaster Castle and the Skenduli House, without having to travel far. What made our stay even more memorable was the hospitality of the owner. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room. He also provided us with great tips on what to see in Gjirokaster and how to get around the city. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a great variety of options. Very cute place with homegrown veggies right next to the house. Very calm and relaxing. If you travel by car this is the perfect location in Gjirokaster. The landlord and his wife are super friendly and make a very authentic Albanian experience. On request you can experience a traditional dinner made of longstanding family recipes prepared with what is grown around the property.
