Room was very comfortable, view was nice over the golf course with a slight view of the water. We had drinks in the bar and dinner in L'Escale Restaurant which was awesome. Breakfast was perfect.

Nothing at all! This place was disgusting! I would never recommend this place to anyone. As soon as we walked in, it smelled bad, and none of the beds were made, and all the towels were dirty and in the sink. We literally walked in and right back out! Never again! I still haven't heard from anyone about reimbursement.

We loved the Church of St.
We loved the Church of St. Peter and Paul - they feature vivid and colourful stained glass windows made by Harry Clarke. We were in there for way longer than we anticipated, the art was so detailed and interesting. We found handy parking round the back of the castle, but it was February and was quiet so no problems there.

We ate at The Fatted Cow, which served excellant food in a professional and friendly atmosphere.The town itself was easy to get around with good transport links to other towns and cities. We only stayed one night, so it was a pity we couldn't really enjoy it completely; this would be an ideal starting place if you want to explore this part of Ireland for several days.
