Everything, being in the center of the town, easy access to the other parts of the island. Friendly and helping staff. Our room was renovated. The receptionist told us that all rooms will be renovated soon. Very comfortable and modern design. It was the most peaceful part of our stay. We definitely recommend it.
The Maui Beach Hotel features an outdoor pool and is 2 miles from Kanaha Beach Park. A cable TV is included in each air-conditioned room at Maui Beach Hotel.

The only thing that went well was that I was able to check out and obtain a full refund due to Booking.com understanding that the health and safety of the hotel was unacceptable.

The vehicle was perfectly equipped with anything you need for car or tent camping. It was clean, well maintained, and perfect for the island roads. Sean and his family made my proposal an absolutely picture perfect night by going above and beyond and setting up our items on his favorite beach. His attention to detail and care into making this come together will NEVER be forgotten. I was so nervous about planning it from Colorado, but he took the plan and executed it perfectly.

The property was a small boutique hotel in the middle of town, walking distance from food and small shops. There was also a private walkout beach behind the hotel. The staff was friendly and did take time to show us around the place to make sure we knew the area in case we needed anything. There was main area upstairs that had free espresso and coffee for in the morning also had water.

The hotel is very nice, it has a central pool overlooking the sea.
The rooms are spacious and clean, offering coffee, tea, beach towels, personal care products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion).
There is a restaurant right next to it, serving good local dishes, where you get 10% off your bill as hotel guests.
There is a parking lot in front of the hotel entrance, for $10/day (+taxes).
The staff is very nice and keen to accommodate your requests. We were there on our honeymoon and they set up the room very nicely.
The location is very close to the airport, yet is a very curated hotel. Overall a bit expensive, but aligned to the high prices of Maui.

The hotel was on the Kahului Harbor with a lovely sandy beach to walk on. There were a number of sail boarders in the harbor, we did swim but found out later the harbor is full of sharks... This hotel is very close to beach enjoyed by locals with sail boarding, wind surfing etc. etc.
We stayed there due to the proximity to airport and free shuttle, although the shuttle shut down prior to our arrival at 10:00 p.m. so could not take advantage on arrival. Close to mall and a number of places to eat.

We just stayed at the hotel near the airport for one night since we arrived late after a long flight and did not feel like driving. Although it was 11 pm it was 2 am for us. So we only stayed the one night at this location and 10 in Lahaina.

Because of the airport being here, I think, this is where the locals shop. Costco and WalMart are here. Zippy's restaurant is a local favorite and not bad. The Arts and Culture Center near the University is beautiful and had a lovley exhibit in the gallery.
There are a couple of beaches in town that come up on the snorkle report. Otherwise, this town is not a hotspot for tourists so much. The Road to Hana kind of starts here, and the more thrifty shopping is here. Buy gas here. The hospital is here.

Familiar chain stores and fast food nearby if needed.
Familiar chain stores and fast food nearby if needed. We prefer local restaurants, etc, and found ourselves driving to Lahaina and Kaanapali for whale watching, shopping, and other activities. Very convenient to the airport!!

Great weather, but not many good spots to eat.
Great weather, but not many good spots to eat. We found a very nice bed and breakfast - "What a wonderful world" - where the host made us feel very welcomed. The beach was only a few minutes away by car. There was always parking available. Great place to start your daytrips from. A very easy-going environment away from the cookie cutter like expensive resorts.
Our flight times changed so we stayed there only 2.5mi from the airport. We loved the very friendly staff who gave good supportive information. Soft towels in the spacious room with the islands beautiful mountain view. The dining room is closed Monday so we went to the closest restaurant which is clearly loved by local residence. This was a very friendly place with a big breakfast choice. The hotel has a free shuttle service to the airport. There is a lovely garden overlooking the ocean to enjoy while you wait.
The Maui Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. When we needed something they delivered very fast. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there again. The swimming pool was super clean and the view of the ocean and mountains was great. The hotel is located near many restaurants and shops walking distance.
The host is friendly and helpful. Communication with them is easy. The jeep is comfortable - perfect way to explore Maui! Keep in mind that beside booking the jeep with the tent you also need to think of booking camping spots. Hosts are sending detailed info about comping sites, but some of them must be booked as early as one month before arrival.
This is such a FREE way to experience Maui. You can easily visit the more busy locations, but stay the night on the most beautiful places with green, birds, seaviews and more natural beauty. And on top of that the service by the 'hosts' was exceptional: endless good advising, approachable, supportive, a big 10!!!
Easy to het to from airport. central to all highway taking you around the island.
Fabulous rocking chairs outside I sat all evening rocking and listening to the waves. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I would recommend if you just want a base and are not looking for a “resort”.
We landed in Maui around 10pm so we decided to grab a hotel near the airport before heading to our resort in the morning. This hotel proved to be a great choice. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and a Starbucks in the lobby. I would definitely recommend.
Sean, CeCe, and Lauren were fabulous in the midst of a catastrophe! They were so accommodating in a serious time of need. We were sleeping in our rented car during the Maui fires, they came to the rescue with the very definition of Aloha!
The jeep and tent was awesome. Easy to set up and take down. Such a unique and fun way to experience Maui. Spencer was very informative and quick to respond to any questions I had. 2 thumbs up!!
We took this hotel because it was close to the airport (next time we stay in one of the better places further away). It was clean. There are some nice games outside on the grass.
Once you go out of the room & go to the garden area you get a nice view of the beach. Its not the best beach view but still you get a waterfront view while at Maui.
