Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the Location is good.
Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

The town is small and quiet-ish. There are some nice hikes worth taking, especially at sunset. (check the Guard Tower Area and the )
Not sure if it's all year round, but in September many of the restaurants and terraces were closing at 18:00 local time.
You can take the long route north to get to Tihany, but the ferry is faster and not that expensive (in 2023 about 10 EUR for 1 car + 1 person).

It is a little town but you can entertain yourself for 2-3 days easily. Many restaurants with a great food offers. All is about lavender products: soaps, perfumes, beer, ice cream... Very interesting.
Kecskeköröm Csárda with live traditional music, Tihany Retro Pizzeria, Lavender Garden Tihany and Gulyás udvar Étterem are restaurants to recommend.
Kilometers of cycling trails. A bigger town, Balatonfured, just 5 kilometers away so if you need more fun go there.

The village is quaint with many restaurants and those attempted were of a high standard
Access to the village without a car is a little awkward although during 0900 to 1800 a motorised train with about six small carriages operates at about 20 minute intervals.
There are a number of souvenir type shops and lavender and lavendula is in abundance.

Lavender in every shape, form and amount, galleries, history, walks, hikes, horses, sheep and cattle, olden days artefacts, good food and a lot of it, kind people.

Beautiful old village, full of character, fantastic views.
Beautiful old village, full of character, fantastic views. Easy to cykle along the lake. The place is famous for lavender, one must try local food, e.g. lavender ice cream, goulash, local beer or wine. There is an old Abbey on the top of the hill, not so far local wineyards. Above all people are so friendly and relaxed.
I loved the room & view from the room and the best breakfast I have ever tried not only in a hotel, but ever ! The room was spacious the bed was king size and coffee & tea making facility was available in the room. All in all was a great experience. An amazing experience for the price!
A very pleasant small house, tranquil, with a lake view, a terrace, private parking, and beach access. Very nicely furnished, bright, cozy. An excellent starting point for cycling, with bike paths passing by, visiting the town of Tihany, and other excursions. We would happily return.
Overall good, pretty busy hotel but helpfull personal, beach/garden area really huge, access to watter easy, room was OK, not the latest fashion room but you are not here to stay in your room, bed was confortable and kids were satisfied, so were we. indoor swiming pool and bathtube.
Very nice hosts, and the rooms were recently renovated with the help of a state program "Csodas Magyarorzag". Overall, a good experience when you want to visit Tihany. The hosts also fulfilled extra wishes and are very reliable! The room was very well designed.
Everything was great.
Clean, comfortable, quiet, modern appliances and fixtures. Friendly but not overbearing cat in the garden.
Great location, nice view.
Owner courteous and helpful.
Easily nicest apartment we've stayed at in Hungary.
The rooms are big with a comfortable bed and nice interior. The breakfast is traditional hungarian cold cuts and bakery products with also option to try some hungarian desserts. Nice location, close to the bus stop to Tihany center.
The place is beautiful and in a calm part of the city Tihány. The breakfast was perfect...the terrace is great for evening chat with wine which you can buy at the reception. We will come back as soon as possible :-)
We liked the fact that it was a quiet place. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighbourhood in the evening. You can view the lavander fields in Tihany from the window.
The place is clean, the location is very new.
The breakfast was excellent with more than we could eat. The Reception was exceptional, Edit is the most welcoming and helpful person we've met in Hungary. We would recommend this Apartment Hotel to everyone.
Our overnight stay was excellent. The accommodation offered everything you need. The location and accessibility is very good, right next to the main attractions of Tihany. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful old cottage house in a sleepy town of Tihany located just by the lake. Great place to stay with your love and spend a romantic weekend. Amazing stay. Totally recommend!
Really nice modern feel, loved the terrace and great location (important to know that even though it’s waterfront, you cant actually go in the water right in front of the hotel)
