Featuring mountain views, TRANQUILO - Dead Sea Glamping in Metsoke Dragot provides accommodations, pool with a view, a garden, a bar, and a shared lounge.
Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

There were a lot of houseflies everywhere! ;-( The place has potential BUT it is really not clean... I don't recommend it, it was torture for us to stay there. What more my friend hanged a lightly wet dress in front of our tent and it was stolen.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert.
A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert. Birds, ibixes, hyraxes. The David waterfalls is beyond gorgeous.
The hikes are great and moderately difficult.
bring LOTS of water and go first thing in the morning before the throngs of school kids come.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. But if you like fun in the evening, it's very excellent place. Thus I'll recommend it strongly in that case. The (public) bathroom is very clean.

We stayed in a superior room with beautiful view over the Ein Gedi nature reserve.
Breakfast and Dinner in the Restaurant were excellent with a huge selection of dishes.
Great service at the spa with relaxing salt and fresh watr pols
The apartment and its location are beautiful. It's located within the kibbutz itself, so you get a glimpse of kibbutz life, but you have access to the hotel facilities; the pool is a short walk through the botanical gardens of the kibbutz and you receive a 10% discount at the hotel restaurant and spa. There is a view of the Dead Sea from the balcony and stunning views of the surrounding desert. The hostess, Bar, was super friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, she provided it. Overall, we had an amazing stay. It was hard to leave!
This studio apartment is on a resort property located in beautiful Botanical Garden Ein Gedi. The WIFI signal is good and the swimming pool is luscious after a long day. We were given a pass which entitled us to a discount at the restaurant as well as free entrance to the enormous pool area. The apartment has a private furnished terrace including a porch swing. The host left oranges for us to enjoy. As an added bonus, we saw a herd of ibex walking the grounds! The apartment is ideally situated to visit Masada and the Dead Sea.
The location is perfect even for public transportation. The bus station is exactly at the hotel entrance. The amazing garden, nice view at the pool, great facilities at the spa, we had a nice view also at our room, clean room and towels smell good, we enjoyed the night musical event (english songs), variety of delicious food from breakfast and dinner, we also had a quick tour around the kibbutz by the shuttle.. shuttle driver was so nice.
It's a humble flat, tidy and clean, if a bit dated. The double bed was comfortable. Sofa bed so-so. Kitchen had adequate dishes, cooking pots, etc. It's located in a kibbutz with a botanical garden. Has access to the hotel swimming pool. Five minute drive to En Gedi reserve. Host greeted us cheerfully, showed us the property and his reserved parking space. There were a couple of Ibex in the kibbutz.
The food at the restaurant buffet was delicious at every meal - above and beyond our expectations. We had lunch in the cafe once and that was also delicious. Everyone at the hotel was really nice and helpful, and the botanical gardens on-site were amazing. The view from our room was stunning. We also loved the spa. Would recommend to everyone!
Beautiful studio with very nice terras, overlooking the mountains and the Dead Sea. Clean bathroom with excellent Ahava shower gel and shampoo. The host is very helpful and prepared a little fruitsalad as welcome. Easy parking, a mini market nearby… perfect place to discover zin Gedi, Masada etc
Beautiful, modern apartment with an authentic kibbutz vibe. The host was very warm and informative and went the extra mile for us. Ein Gedi has 3 restaurants, a pool and is only 30min by bus from the Dead Sea. Highly recommended for an affordable/value-for-money stay near the Dead Sea.
Ranaan was very responsive and met us at the entrance. He explained us everything in the Kibbutz and also gave us valuable information about the Shabbat travel and shopping. He was very generous with the check out time and we enjoyed and appreciated that a lot! Thank You Ranaan.
Excellent breakfast buffet; impressive view over the Dead Sea from rooms balcony; location well accessible with private car or public bus; places of interest nearby (e.g. Qumran Park; En Gedi Nature Reserve; Masada National Park)
Location is good. Stunning Dead Sea view and accessible to ein Gedi nature reserve. The VIP van is clean and well equipped. The taste of food is above average. Most of the staffs are nice and helpful.
It is a beautiful glamping with great views towards the Dead Sea. We sleep in a bungalow,, it was super comfy with good aircon and well isolated. Very nice staff and good food.
