Clean and cozy place :) we stayed for one night but all the friendly staff tried their best to provide support in anything we needed. If we come back to Aguascalientes Inkas Land will be our place to stay!

I picked this hotel because it's one of the few hotels near the train station that had everything my group needed. We were a group of 16 and we were looking for a place that could accommodate all of us, with breakfast, elevators, bag drop, and more. Golden Sunrise had all of that.
Even though it is close to the train station it does not get much of the foot traffic from the train. Access from the train station is not that straightforward as you would have to go a little out of your way to get to this hotel. It's in one of the far ends of the town past the football stadium.
One thing I really appreciated is that the staff of the hotel were there at the train station when we arrived, they had a sign with my name to guide us to the hotel. This is something we didn't request or expect.
Conveniently the hotel also has a few markets and restaurants nearby. The businesses in this side of town are more catered to the locals.
The breakfast offered a little more options than your average continental breakfast, looks like everybody seemed to enjoy it.
Hotel was near the rivers so you could hear the water swooshing by.
The staff did a great job.

Machu pichu is quite spectacular and set in an equally spectacular natural setting.
However the queues for the train, the bus going up, the entry, the toilets, the cafe, and the 800 metre queue for the bus back, together with the precipitous stairs and the congested trails through the site, greatly diminished the enjoyment of the experience . Waiting times amounted to several hours, often in the sun. And this was with pre-purchased tickets.
Weigh up a visit carefully. We enjoyed our stay at Ollantaytambo much more - a nice little rural town with fabulous archeology and Peruvian culture

It was a childhood dream for me. I had a foggy day when was my ticket. It was a mystery. Maybe it'll be better if it was sunny. The prise was very high, but when you have a dream, you should do it.

Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years.
Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years. There are no know written records of who built it, what it was used for or the part it played in Inca history. The guides are totally speculative. They have good stories..... but completely from their imagination. Do your homework and prepare for the visit.
This hostel was just what I needed after walking from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes. The hostel is located right in the city center, nearby everything. I was in a dorm room and the bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only suggestion is for them to have a floor towel in the bathroom as the bathroom floor got very wet and icky after anyone showered. Overall a nice and comfortable hostel for a backpacker to rest when going to Machu Picchu!
The walls of the room were a bit dirty and the door was very thin which means we could listen to the reception and all new guests that were checking in. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. We really enjoyed the view from the room and the breakfast room and the location of the hotel was very good. In general and considering the Monday we payed it’s a Great Option if you want to stay in Aguas Calientes to see Machu Picchu.
The place is a great location and nice place, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service . Breakfast was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. Will definitely recommend.
- Great location in the heart of Aguas Calientes, very close to the bus to Machu Picchu
- A nice room for one night as a stopover on your way to Machu Picchu
- WiFi provided but pretty weak
- Helpful and nice staff - we couldn't have our breakfast at the hotel, so we got breakfast boxes to go
- Possibility to store your luggage during your stay at Machu Picchu
We enjoyed our stay at Jaya suites. We were met at the train station bu their staff to assist us to the hotel.
The location was perfect. Room large and comfortable king bed. View over the town at the back of the building was nice. Spa bath a lovely bonus!
Breakfast on the 7th floor was very tasty.
They stored our bags while we went to Machu Picchu .
We stayed 3 days in aguas calientes town, it was a family trip. The host was kindly, he helped us with all our questions about trips and good restaurants near the hotel. Futhermore, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent, it's 6 min from train station on feet. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Machu Picchu.
view of the river from the balcony and shower.
staff were very helpful. They met us at the train station and walked us to the hotel. They made us a packed lunch as we were up before breakfast. They also looked after our bags whilst we visited Machu Picchu.
great location right next to the entrance to the hot springs
Everything was fine, even more the staff. They went to the train station to guide me to the hotel, then they gave me a lot of advice for my MachuPicchu visit, and even it was 6 hours after the checkout, they assigned me a temporary room to take a shower before taking the train to go back to Cusco!
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and it included a good breakfast (eggs, fruit, ham, juice, yogurt, coffee). The bus stop to Machu Picchu is less than one block away. The lady at the front desk was friendly
Amazing little centrally located hotel with private rooms. Has everything you need for a comfortable one night stay before or after seeing Machu Picchu. Extremely good price and perfect for an unfussy, solo traveler.
Excellent location near station, bus stop, shops, restaurants etc. great breakfast on 7th floor with Mountain Views. Reece went above and beyond to help and serve and he came to the station to walk us to the hotel.
The hotel was comfortable and the staff was excellent. The staff took care of all our needs and the facilities were great. Also, good location in the middle of Aguas Calientes, just across from the train station.
This was a comfy hotel in a fairly quiet place in Aguas Calientes where everything is within 3 mins walk. Rooms were big, clean and relatively modern. It felt like we generally got our money's worth.
We were met at the train and accompanied on foot to the hotel. We were in the central area of Aguas Calientes, could walk everywhere. The bed was very comfortable.
