Everything. The hosts were helpful, kind and clear with instructions. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The cabin has everything you need - the hot tub is just a plus to all of the positives. Peace and quiet, clean, perfect place to grill a steak with a view. There was nespresso machine with a lot of capsules even tho we brought our own. The design is beautiful. I have no negatives. Thank you for your service!

excellent room conditions, bathroom, kitchen, washing machine, living room are all exceeding our expectations. plus great outside view of the surrounding town environment.
Husavik was our favourite town in Iceland. Fabulous whale watching cruise, including two rarely seen blue whales. The GeoSea Thermal Pools are a great spot for a beer in a warm salt water pool overlooking the ocean. Several excellent restaurants and bars too.

Whale watching was excellent on the sunset trip at 7.30-10.30pm. Watched four humpback whales surface feeding and diving down.
Puffin colony nearby too. Good for seabird watching. Otherwise not much to Husavik for us - a service centre with fuel, food shops, a few restaurants and new pool complex that looked good but we did not visit.

Whale Watching was a bonus as we managed to spend 30 minutes with a Minke. If you are driving to Husavik from south, then make sure you have ample time to stop and admire the highlands and also complete the diamond circle. Make sure you stick to speed limit of 90KM across Iceland ;-)

I stayed here mostly for the GeoSea spa.
I stayed here mostly for the GeoSea spa. It was very snowy so I ended up cutting some of the driving out of my day and got here early. Except for whale watching and the spa, there is almost nothing to do here. (Unless you're there at the time of the music festival). A great place to stay though if you're seeing the diamond circle. Lovely views and nice people in town as well.

Husavik is a delight!
Husavik is a delight! The spot to experience the north Coast of Iceland. Lots to see and do, dont miss out on the bath! Very good restaurants. Use Google! Museums, whale and puffins, just get the atmosphere of a harbour facing the far north.
We drove up north on F25 and consideringit takes another two hours to get there once you hit Road1 we thought this was overdoing it a bit. But no.
I instead wish we had stayed overnight closerto Akureyri and continued to Husavik. The drive is just to beutiful to do whenyou are tried. Spend at least two nights, -the point is not to feel stressed. Then continue to Myrvatn.
This is a hotel style accommodation, except that bathrooms are shared. The rooms are a good size for 1 or 2. When they had a plumbing issue, with 1 of the showers not functioning, the staff provided guests with access to the local swimming pool. This was great- the local pools all have hot tubs. It's inconvenient in terms of just taking a shower, but really great when you treat it as shower facilities on top of the pools. Location is great for walking in husavik, groceries, and parking.
Fantastic location in Husavik. We were able to walk to our planned excursion, 5 minutes to the harbor. Very quiet spot, very clean room and bathroom. Beds were comfy, the only small complaint were the pillows. They were just like half pillows instead of standard pillows which was odd. But otherwise it was great. There was a nice shared common area and kitchen. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
The room was big, very clean and modern, and the view was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and plenty for all the guests. The breakfast is delicious, the best we had in Iceland. the location is great, central, close to whale watching tours. we had dinner in the restaurant in front, which was great! staff in hotel was friendly and helpful.
Great location and excellent stay. The apartments were clean and comfortable. We booked both a small apartment for 3 of us and the studio for 2 and it worked very well for travel for 5 of us. We had a wonderful stay in Husavik - was nice to have small kitchen allowing us to cook ourselves but also had a great meal out.
Amazing hotel that appears to have been completely redone within the past year. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel, almost exactly between Akureyri and Masvatn was ideal. Godafoss was right out your front door. Highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful house, like small apartment, much better than any classic hotel rooms !
Beautiful, comfortable, new and clean.
And that view .... just amazing !
We are on our road trip around Iceland and this is absolutely the best place we stay !
I higly recommend this. 🗻🇮🇸💙
Located on an active farm. Hotel rooms are beautifully redone cow stalls that provided great comfort after a long drive along the ring road. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped make the stay pleasant. Only a stone’s throw from Husavik.
+ spacious room with disabled access
+ good location near centre of town
+ big hotel with professional staff
+ near whale watching and great restaurant (Naustio)
+ short drive to Geosea hot spa which is excellent
+ approx 45 min drive to Mývatn
A lovely room in a great location made all the better by the superb staff at the Hotel. Always happy to help and were very understanding and kind when we ran into some unexpected medical issues and needed to extend our stay.
Breakfast? We provided our own food. The breakfast area\kitchen were fine. The Hostel was a little off of the beaten path, but it was close enough to Husavik and in a pretty location.
If you are looking for a hotel at the end of the world, you've come to the right place !!! Quiet, easy, idyllic. Clean shared kitchen, well equipped. Too bad it was only one night.
The room was fine and it is equipped with good facilities except for a small fridge. The location was great. It is in the heart of Husavik. The hotel is peaceful as well.
Nice location. I did late check-in. Good communication with hotel. Friendly staff when check-out. Everything looks nice and clean. Spacious room. Clean bathroom.
What a gem! Breathtaking views, quiet, excellent design throughout. Now if they only had harder matresses this could be our favourite hotel in the whole of Iceland.
