We stayed in Woodbridge to visit Sutton Hoo. We had a great visit and found more we wish to visit in the area. We will come back to explore some more and stay at the Cherry Tree again.

We very much enjoyed our visit to this lovely town with all its independent shops and lovely nostalgic 'village' feel- such relief from the endless "Shopping Centres' with their bland offerings. There is a great selection of places to eat and the thriving Riverside Theatre/Cinema where we saw an arthouse film. We walked the River Deben: to see the Longship Project and excellent FREE Museum, then on for a day out at fascinating Sutton Hoo. Buses were a welcome surprise with easy trips to Aldeburgh and beyond. Friendly and sociable little market town. Lovely walks with a good comfortable vibe even at night, felt safe. So many nice places to stop and sit and people smile which is a good indicator of the warm feel you get being there. It was our first time in Suffolk and Woodbridge is a fantastic base for exploring the county. Everyone at The Bull Inn made us welcome...the four poster bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful! We stayed in a master suite which was beautiful and allowed us reserved free parking. We would certainly recommend staying here if you want to explore Suffolk.

What a brilliant company.

We were due to have a twin room, however although being told we had been allocated a twin room this wasn't the case, however the staff member gave us a second room which worked out better in the end so thank you :-) The food was fabulous too we really enjoyed the tapas.

That was white noise for me). Small cozy place. Carla was so kind. She waited 30 minutes for me to arrive after checking hours. Breakfast was delicious. I loved this place.
