PERSONAL service is the key to my stay here, in a rather quaint and characterful hotel full of charm. You don't get a bland white box for a room, you get an odd-shaped room with where everything is there but perhaps not how you expect it. The shower took ages to pump hot water through, but once the water was hot, there was one of the longest baths I've ever seen, and the shower over it worked well. I got tea-making facilities. My bed was a bit bouncy, but it didn't stop me sleeping like a log, and waking refreshed. It is likely that every room here is different from the next, and some may not have private facilities, but mine gave me everything I wanted. Breakfast was 'full English' (even in Scotland), and the personal service I mentioned adapted this to my vegetarian requirements, and everything was fresh cooked to order. There is free car parking, but it was tricky for me to find, but I found a little square behind the hotel with parking.
Set within 15 acres of rural woodland and gardens, this guest house is 1.5 miles from the center of Jedburgh. Hundalee House has free WiFi and eggs from resident hens are served in the mornings.

Jedburgh is a lovely town and we visited the Thistle & Tweed shop on the High Street which we cannot recommend highly enough.
There is also a lovely little florist and the young lady who helped us with a bouquet and also arranged some irises for us to leave at our Dad's grave was so helpful.

Lovely little market town where we normally just break our journey up to Aberdeen. It was nice to spend a little bit longer even though it's now the 'off season'. Lovely surroundings - it would seem there's a lot to do around there in Spring/Summer. Also some nice restaurants - especially Bella Sicily.

Plenty to see all within easy walking distance in this small town. Good choice of eating out, even on a Sunday evening. There is also a good selection of independent shops and small businesses in the centre.

Our was just an overnight stop travelling back home.from a trip to the far orth if Scotland. But a longer stay would have allowed us to visit some of the historical sites which looked interesting.
There was a very ni e italian restaurant opposite the 'hotel'.
Clean and comfortable town house in the centre of Jedburgh. Very well equipped with everything you might need. Decor is modern. Two large bathrooms with excellent showers.
Handy for the shops, there is a large Coop supermarket 5 mins walk away. Jedburgh makes a good base for touring the area and there are some interesting walks around the town and surrounding areas
This is one of our favorite BnB's in Scotland. The room is comfortable, quiet, with a view of the garden. Breakfast is outstanding in a charming room, including a fire in the fireplace when it is colder. The hosts are friendly, helpful, with attention to detail. Jedburgh is nearby and it is not far to many sights in the Borders.
The position of the accommodation was ideal, just a short walk into town. The room was very large and it was nice to have a bath and a small kitchenet. The breakfast was without doubt the best we had on our 2 week tour of the UK. If in this area would stay again. Jedburgh is a very interesting place and well worth a look.
The location was perfect, five minutes walk to centre. Clean, well equipped comfortable and host left a good supply of bread, milk, biscuits, cereal etc. The accomodation is spotless and the bed is very comfortable . No table to dine on but trays are provided. Excellent base to explore a beautiful and interesting area.
The house is beautiful, in a lovely isolated location but sufficiently close to Jedburgh for food. The room was very comfortable and the shower very good. Breakfast was served in the most wonderful room with an open fire which Sheila lit despite there being only two of us there.
All in all a very good experience
The owners/staff were very welcoming and friendly and paid an interest in your travel plans etc. The breakfast was very good with plenty options to choose and coffee/tea/toast also. The hotel is a beautiful Georgian building and only 5 minutes walk from the town centre.

Clearly a lot of love, time and effort out into this little place. Was clean, beautiful set out and extremely comfortable. Dog friendly, our pooch was super comfortable. Jackie was so friendly and welcoming. Really felt at home during our stay.
Room was immaculately clean. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Bed super comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastically located in the town centre. Overall, a fantastic stay in Jedburgh.
A great place for a family stay! Location is situated well to visit into areas like Jedburgh, Melrose and Earlston. Handy country park is only a 5 minute drive away which has a great park for kids.
We love old pubs/hotels like this. Great location on the green. We're able to park right in front of the building so could even see the car from out room. Food freshly cooked was excellent.
A comfortable clean room in a nice part of Jedburgh which was very convenient for the Borders Abbeys Way which we were doing. There was no problem with rucksacks, boots etc.
We both loved the fact that it was so clean and well kept in such a beautiful area. The owner was nice when they handed us the keys and showed us round the property.
