The hotel and grounds were beautifully maintained and decorated. Peaceful, quiet and yet only steps from all the charming shops and amenities of the town of Waterloo. Very clean and environmentally conscious.
Welcome to ibis Brussels Waterloo, your haven of peace in the heart of Belgium’s historical and cultural riches.

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff is nice en helpful. The breakfast was not included, we paid 17 euro/person (open buffet) but it was worth it. The hotel is close to the centrum.

location was great. Very convenient. Everyone was friendly.
Waterloo is a great place to visit. The monument and museum is well worth a visit as is the temporary ABBA exhibition. The Mont Saint John brewery makes the best Belgian beer and has a lovely gift shop. The Carrefour hypermarket is one of the best we've visited, as is the adjoining Lunch Garden, and there are other good shops and restaurants around.

There is a good selection of places to eat - for some you may need to book but we just walked into 2 which were excellent. There are the usual popular chains too - McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc. on the outskirts
Parking is easy and free
The park is a lovely space and there seem to be regular art exhibitions too.
Musee Wellington is small but has plenty of info and the new Napoleon in Egypt room is fascinating
The town has plenty of independent shops including a book shop.

We were there to meet friends but also took the opportunity to go to New Waterloo Museum. We went to Museum which impressively is set underground with no sign of it until you get near. Potentially it could be brilliant. Sadly it was such a disappointment. We had iPhones and downloaded the app unfortunately the numbered sections were either slow to load or wouldn’t load the vocals at all. Added to this as you go through the numbered sections do not run in order. I was left totally frustrated. We were so lucky then to go up the mound and meet a geek as he described himself who gave us a brilliant 45 minute account of the battle.

It generally and overall was a good experience staying at this faculty. I liked it.
The hotel isn't that far from the Waterloo train station and it's quite easy to travel to Brussels using train. Yes, the wellington museum is just very close to it, but I was on my work so couldn't find time to see around.
It would be nice if the Booking.com or hotel could post details of halal food options in its neighborhood if any.

I was there for work but I can say it is a lovely place to visit the battle fields of waterloo or just ake nice country walks. Nice country side all around within a stone throw of Brussels center. In fact by train you can be in the city centre in less than 10mins.
We absolutely loved our stay here. Our hosts were so incredibly kind. They both went over and beyond at every opportunity. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking at a trip to Waterloo. It was a great base to get to Brussels and it was walking distance to buses that took you straight to the historic battlefields! Highly highly recommend!
Really enjoyed the en suite including small couch to relax after a long drive. Parking was included along with a lovely hospitable Lola and yummy breakfast. The room included a small outdoor space, which we did not use based on the weather. It is truly in a Waterloo neighborhood, taking a walk around the neighborhood was lovely.
Great hotel: easy parking, very nice and spacious comfortable rooms and bathrooms, and very clean. Staff was nice and the restaurant was delicious, the breakfast was also great - enough healthy food to get us going for our day! Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely go back if I need to stay in Waterloo again!
This hotel felt like a standard business hotel. When we arrived we were upgraded to the "executive suite" which raised our expectations. In reality it was a bang standard room with not much setting it apart from any other room. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Our bikes could be stored securely.
The breakfast was really lovely, lots of variety and good quality food. I thought the room was a little on the small side, but bathroom was spacious. The grounds of the hotel were really nice, with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine.
Sleep mist for pillow was a lovely touch!
Located in a quite street 20 mins walk to Waterloo centre. Has a nice outside space for coffee etc. Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need. The hosts are the nicest people you could meet and always very helpful.
Very friendly, professional team. Rooms and hotel generally kept clean and well. Location is great just across from the town’s Park, safe and well lit if you plan evenings out it makes it all walkable.
The hosts are extremely friendly. They prepare a great breakfast, offer something to drink or an ice cream during the day. They give great tips for possible tours nearby. We felt very comfortable!
