We chose the Waldcafe Hotel as a waypoint on our way north. What a gem! Slightly off the beaten path but a beautiful quiet spot for a restful night. When we arrived the staff were very generous to allow us to get food even though their lunch service was over. The food was delicious and I was sad we didn’t have dinner there as we had other plans. The breakfast was simple but lovely (even fresh strawberries) and scramble eggs cooked fresh.

The city is small but very elegant.
The city is small but very elegant. The main attraction are the baths, which are part of a UNESCO World Heritage transnational site. It is recommended to visit during the spring season as the beautiful riverside parks will be at the height of their beauty, but the Christmas market is also drawing lots of interest.
The city centre is realtively small, with the main shops in the lower area and the historic section with lots of scenic views on the hill overlooking the river Oos and the baths area. Excellent public transport is available for trips to nearby locations.
Special mention for the Frieder Burda museum.

The town is very relaxing and offers hiking, biking, sightseeing and of course the spa and casino. We took a free tour of the casino, which was informative and not too long, 45min. The spa is a must otherwise why go to Baden-Baden! There are two options, and they are completely different in what they offer so best to read up on them. If you want any treatments book early as they go fast on weekends. There area is beautiful and there are a lot of walking/hiking/biking opportunities to enjoy so plan on getting out from the downtown and head up into the forest. The Black Forest is less than an hour away for any day trips as well as Strasbourg. Train service is an option.

We used Baden Baden as a base of operations for seeing areas further north along the Rhine and further east in the Black Forest, and it's a charming town though of course very much an upscale shopping mecca (which is not really our thing). Now that I've seen the town I'm realizing we could well have stayed an extra night and seen some additional historic castles and other sites, and I for one (though not my husband) would have enjoyed a day at the spa!
That is a really cozy hotel in the city center. The hotel is located very close to the thermal centers/spas. Everything was great. Room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was also outstanding, every morning the bread was fresh out of the bakery next door. The manager of the hotel was wonderful! She was extremely nice, professional and much accommodating. She treated all gests with a great deal of respect.
Really enjoyed our week long stay, and will be back. Highly recommended!
Amazing staff like rarely experienced anywhere else (special kudos to the breakfast crew and their super attentive teamlead)! The cleanliness of the rooms and the spa is beyond perfection. This hotel is 5 stars for all the good reasons. Breakfast is perfect, too. Oh and did I mention the comfortable beds? Interesting in the rooms: toilet and shower have a door for themselves in the bathroom, which made our room work well for a family of four.
We liked everything. Great central location. Apartment is super clean, spacious, comfortable and luxury. Elevator is a big plus. Paid parking is really nearby. The owner is very welcoming and polite. Easy communication by phone. Eugene provided us with a discount card of city guests and we used it for a visit to Caracalla term. 2 balconies, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with everything you need. Great place to stay. Thank you!
The entire hotel is perfectly designed in the theme of The Little Prince, but the style is non-intrusive. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff very helpful. We were group of 5 staying two nights in Baden-Baden. I would definitely recommend the hotel for its charm and return there again once in Baden-Baden.
Great location. Everything is easy reachable by foot. The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast offers what you might expect in terms of choice. In terms of product quality it was very good. There are free parking places a short walk away.
I highly recommend the hotel for a weekend trip to Baden Baden.
The apartment is great, spacious, very well decorated, clean, modern with atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, with coffee, tea, ready to be made.
The entrance was well explained and fully covered.
Location in the centre of Baden Baden, close to horeca, shops and wellness. Perfect spot for relaxation and fun.
The staff were very helpful.
The rooms were very beautiful and clean, and the hotel location was in the middle of Baden Baden and connected to all bus stations.
The breakfast had a lot of choices but a small amount of each, so you might need to wait a bit for a refill but worth it very delicious.
This hotel was so close to the two famous spas and the bedroom was super comfortable and loved that the huge TV could be manoeuvred so you could watch it comfortably in bed. And loved the little extra inclusions like tea.
Slept really well the night I stayed here!
This hotel has a very good central location. You could easily reach different restaurants and shops.
Rooms pros: relatively clean, spacious, and bright. Although we had a pleasant stay overall, there were a few areas where we felt improvements could be made.
We really enjoyed our stay at Baden Baden thanks to Hôtel Rathausglöckel.
Super friendly staff & nice spacious room & right in the city center! You can reach the bath by foot in 2 minutes!
We will come back definitely if we come next time to Baden Baden
Hotel Belle Epoque was amazing--the location is great and the property is really nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is substantial! The staff is also very friendly and willing to help with any questions.
It’s an elegant family-run hotel with a perfect central location, comfortable rooms, personalized customer service, very friendly and caring personnel, exquisite breakfast. Highly recommended for truly enjoyable stay in Baden-Baden
The room was large, clean and comfortable. Excellent position in the centre of Baden Baden. Parking (not free) in the hotel quite convenient and a good option, as you don´t need the car at all in the city
Lovely quiet location, ample free parking at hotel, quirky old world charm. Friendly host speaking good English. Short walk through park to get to the central part of Baden-Baden.
Beautiful and charming hotel located in the city center. Nice breakfast. We appreciated the sauna, the big bathtub in our room (with spa water!), and the view from our balcony.
The hotel room was spacious, comfortable bed, and a sitting area. Just lovely! The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was superior with their attention on service!
Lovely hotel in the heart of old Baden Baden, close to thermal baths. Beautiful town with great places to eat and shop. Comfortable rooms with a great breakfast.
Breakfast was delicious! The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location, a walk away from the bus stop that takes you to the train station.
