Hotel Francesca's is a quaint place with lots of personality. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and kind. There is a garage where you can play pool for free, while getting a cold beer from the bar upstairs.
The hotel is beautifully located by lake Komani with easy access by car to the ferry.
However, be aware that the road to get to lake Komani is quite bad and we definitely recommend driving to the hotel while it is still daylight. The last hours drive the road is interchangeably paved or gravel with plenty of wholes and bumps while driving in the mountains. But at least the roads are quite broad, which helps.
If you plan on taking the ferry in the morning on lake Komani to Feirze, this is a cozy place to stay for a night.
A good location for a stress-free getaway in Koman, Borealis Guest House is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

It was a beautiful right on the lake. The sunset was spectacular and the stars were breathtaking. The rooms were clean and comfortable and even had a mini fridge. Mario was awesome! We really enjoyed chatting with him. The dinner was delicious and we chose fresh caught trout. The location was ideal if your taking the koman ferry. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Pukë, and at N’Konak. Through slapdash planning we had miscalculated the distance from Pukë to Komani lake, but our host Vullnet organized a boat and 4 wheel drive access to the lake, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

We stayed at the hotel before and after our river tour. It's an excellent place to stay for that purpose and there is an excellent swimming facility on the lake. We didn't checkout additional activities in the area.
