I had to have surgery on May 2nd and while I live within 50 miles of La Crosse, I wanted to be near my medical provider since I was put under anesthesia, I wanted to be within ten minutes of a medical facility in case of an issue. My daughter stayed with me, helping with drops and as a nursing assistant, she knew what to watch for. We requested a first floor room and the desk clerk apologized for not having one available, but 3rd floor with an elevator was very nice! I slept well, enjoyed the room and everyone was wonderful!
I did stay at another hotel that was not a smooth visit and will be telling anyone who asks where to stay in La Crosse, which will be this hotel. Price is not a factor when you are requiring day surgery, you want a stress-free visit...I will be having another surgery in two to three months and I plan on Microtel Inn.

I liked that it was cheap. The location was not bad either. The receptionist was very friendly.
Hotel was great.
My complaint is that the hotel phone # is not available on line.
I end up booking With a 2nd party and
It doesn't go well.
I booked this room on the IHG app using accumulated points.
At check in, I discover that the booking was thru booking com, and the points can not be used.
Tell me how I can find your local # on line.
How do I get this recent stay charged against my points?

This area around LaCrosse is a wonderful location along the Mississippi with much to see as a result. Wildlife areas to enjoy as well as the usual views along the river and nearby bluffs. Many places to dine as well.

I had no problems with these accommodations.
I had no problems with these accommodations. They served my needs. I just wish the bed was adjustable. I have acid reflux. Just mentioning as a after thought. I know some people need to have a inverted bed ever so slightly for proper circulation and comfort.

The room was more expensive than I usually pay when I stay in Onalaska . Other hotels were full so I did not have a choice. Will not be the first place I stay in the future. Breakfast was disappointing in choices and the lady serving food was coughing pretty severely, so in this day of covid did not feel comfortable eating any of the food. Was disappointed in the fact that pancakes were served instead of the waffles usually served in hotels.

It was a neat town that we would have liked to have had more time to explore. The worst part of our trip was our stay at the Baymont hotel. When we walked in the room, the smell hit me in the face and I never could go nose blind to get over the smell. We should have walked out and stayed in our van that night. The hotel needs a major overhaul.

beautiful small town feel but with lots to offer.
beautiful small town feel but with lots to offer. Very scenic and pretty and everyone we met was exceptionally friendly. Especially love the Woodman's store and Mary Cody's restaurant downtown
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was not fancy but quite comfortable and super clean, and we were happy to find a working fridge and microwave and coffee maker, especially during these pandemic times. The location was convenient, and the view of Lake Onalaska across the street was a bonus. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. We think Lake Motel offers exceptional value, and it was just what we were looking for.
Great hotel overall. Nice room and clean. Good location. Good breakfast...a choice of scrambled eggs and a breakfast sausage corn dog my first morning, and a veggie cheese omelet with bacon the next. There were biscuits and gravy both mornings. No waffle maker that I noticed. They had a few fruits and juices and coffee. Good parking area out front. Popcorn and lemonade in the front lobby always available. I stayed in Sept 2022
Great breakfast. Couldn't find any salt or pepper though, no shakers or packets anywhere. Coffee shouldn't be sooo hot. Everyone around us was saying the same thing. We couldn't drink any for several minutes and even then, it was too hot. Good coffee, just not sooo hot. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The decor of the hotel is fabulous and unique. We've stayed here before and love it. Very nice hot tub in our room.
Breakfast was ok. No meat available. One muffin and one bagel choice. Cereal yogurt as usual. All in all not bad.
Showers were good but friend commented their shower leaked all over the floor. I told them mine did also till I realized that housekeeping left the shower doors reversed so when you step in and close the door the inner door was positioned away from the shower head allowing the outer door to leak.
Overall this hotel is a TOTAL 360. Room couldn't have felt more comfortable. Staff friendly, attentive, helpful. Breakfast was to say the least one of the best.
HUGE SHOUT TO TO HOUSEKEEPING YOU GUYS ARE MAKING A HUGE DIFFERENCE
The location was very convenient for us. The breakfast was good and filling. Lots of choices. We were missing a meat choice with the eggs. Bed was very comfortable. The space in the room was great! Overall this was a nice hotel.
Excellent place to stay. Good breakfast, clean rooms, excellent value for the price we paid. I loved the motif the hotel was decorated with. I definitely took a picture of my mom standing next to the moose in front of the hotel.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic. In the time of bagged breakfast to go a nice sit down hot breakfast was great.
This was a fabulous Holiday Inn … everything was top notch and super clean
The staff was friendly and so accommodating .. we were even able to check in early
Can’t say enough good things about it
Our stay was amazing the hotel is simply beautiful and so much to do. Amazing trails to see nature. Also staff and hotel were more then accommodating to our early check in.
The room, pool, breakfast so good and loved the small pancakes, price amazing. Had stayed in several hotels over the week and this was the best by far.
