The place was really nice. It was a little bit further from the city center, but still a 15-minute walk. The close neighborhood has almost no services, but as I've said before, it is a 15-minute walk to the center. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. WiFi was working perfectly and the personnel was really kind.

Vasteras is a midsize town on the shore of what to me seemed like large lake, later I realised it was see deep in the middle of Sweden with beautiful islands, deep forests around. The city center is small but nice.

Fifth city of Sweden, located at a big lake.
Fifth city of Sweden, located at a big lake. The city is not very big but has some nice park and canals.
There are two nice cosy recreation harbours with nice eateries like Argrill and Bryggans bar.
The Steamhotel is very impressive and very well renovated. It also has a sky bar with a great view. Sauna facilities could be used for non hotel guests as well.
Restaurant Limone is one of the best places to eat pasta’s, during lunch time prices are more attractive.
You can easily travel from Vasteras cs to arlanda airport by buss nettbuss or flixbus. To Stockholm a train is a better option.

I liked the lake.
I liked the lake. But there's also some historic buildings such as the cathedral. The free art and local museums are worth a visit Most of the tourist city is in walking distance. But there's not much nightlife. It's worth eating an evening meal at a lakeside cafe in good weather. Some good bars in the mediaeval quarter. Stalls in square sell delicious strawberries in season in
May.
Public parking for a fee is available about a block from the hotel. Dinner was tomato soup, a hearty beef stew with potatoes, and a tossed salad with Rhode Island dressing. Breakfast was bountiful with plenty of coffee, breads, eggs, and bacon. Our room was clean and there was a nice hot shower. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay as the hotel delivered exactly what it promised.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, with easy access to the city center. The room was comfortable, clean and organized in a smart way. Breakfast in the morning was really various and offered a lot of options, for vegans too. Bonus points for the emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly choices everywhere in the structure!
This overnight stay was excellent value! The room had a lot of space along with the bathroom. There was a large refrigerator in the room also. Everything was very clean and worked well. There were excellent facilities for cooking your own food and for washing your clothes (new washing machines). Netflix for free was a nice extra!
Located in the heart of the city.. just 1 min walk to the centre and 10 mins to the train station this hotel provided everything you can ask for a comfortable stay.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, easy check-in and checkout. Wonderful stay at an extremely reasonable price.
I really enjoyed the breakfast, evaluated both by its variety and also its quality.
The location of the hotel is a bit outside of the city centre, which for a cute little town like Västerås, however, means only a 10-minute walk to the centre.
I liked the possibility to get dinner in the hotel on arrival day, vegetarian option was available upon request. It's served until 8pm, so not for all days if you are out and about. The breakfast buffet is nice.
The host is very helpfull, the room was clean and spacious, the kitchen was very good! And of course the biggest plus is the location of this place, right near the centre. Everything is walking distance!
The staff, really helpful
The distance from the hotel to the centre is about 20 minutes, so its close
The building might look sketchy and rundown but the apartement I got was okay
Great apartments to stay for the price. They have everything: comfortable rooms, fridge and kettle in each room, huge separate kitchen, laundry. All done with a good quality.
We liked a lot the big breakfast and how nice and comfy the room was. The location of the hotel is great, you are on step next to everything! The people were nice and smiley
Its different then any other hotel. Special and lots of fun. Lots to choose from as to activity, sitting areas, restaurants, bars. Each place with its own style.
