Loved everything. Wonderful facilities and fantastic host.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

lovely town of 30,000 people. the truffle festival was going on, something about hazelnuts, too and people came here just for the gourmet food and superior wine. we also enjoyed the surrounding Langhe valley which is a UNESCO Heritage Site because of its beautiful vistas.

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
self check in, parking, communication with host, cleanliness, location (15min walk from centre), 2 balconies
Had a pleasant stay near the city centre of Alba, close to a supermarket and great restaurants...perfect for a weekend. The apartment was spotless and the host was very nice, giving seemingly complicated but clear instructions for self check in and tax payment.
There was everything we needed, except for the hairdryer (which I didn't check on the listing when booking and was missing, my bad).
Amazing! This was our first stop on a 3-week tour around northern Italy, and it was wonderful. This family-run hotel is nestled in the hills of Alba. The breakfast selection was delicious, with lots of local jams and options of eggs, meats, seasonal fruits, veggies and pastries. The location is ideal for any activities you want to do in Piemonte or is ideal just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!
A unique stay in Alba which is only a short walk away from the centre but has benefit of great views and accommodation that sits right below vines.
The attentiveness and friendly nature of staff was really clear and they took a genuine interest in our holiday and how we could make the most of it with amazing recommendations.
Breakfast was cooked to order and also had buffet option. Nice to have the extra local specials such as truffle and hazelnut cream.
Amazing property with lots of space and less than 5 mins walk from the beautiful centre of Alba. There are 3 big bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms and a huge lounge and kitchen area. There is also a nice balcony for an outdoor drink. Parking is easy with a cheap, secure public parking directly opposite. The host, Loris, is also super helpful and answers any questions very quickly.
Thanks to Rino, the owner, we had a blast. Our stay was perfect. Hotel’s location is great, 10mn walk from the city center. Room is clean and tidy. And Rino gives you great advise on your stay. Thanks to him we went to monforte d’Alba to taste some wine in Marina’s enoteca : Monvino. Amazing experience !! Thank you you both for amazing memories of this stunning area!
Great and welcoming host. Location amazing position on top of Alba. Is also available a play room with billiard, table football and outside a ping pong table. For the summer season a swimming pool with view on Alba and wineyards. We also got organised a wine testing in a wine producer nearby, also great experience and of course good wine! We would like to come back.
Such a lovely, charming place! Set on a panoramic hilltop above the city of Alba, with gorgeous views, also of the Alps in the background. The owners could not have been more friendly, or gracious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Really wonderful stay!
Well equipped house in a quiet neighborhood with garage. Location is great. 5 minutes drive from the town center and walking distance to a supermarket. The staff was very responsive and provided great suggestions where to go around Alba and the region.
Great location a few minutes walk to the city center. A well equipped and stocked kitchen. It was nice to have more room than a typical hotel room as well as a nice private outdoor space and laundry facilities. Very secure parking under the building.
Marvelous view over Alba and a beautiful terrace and pool to enjoy it from. only a few minutes by car from the town but up a (steep) lane so very quiet. Our room had a private bit of terrace, and importantly given this year's heat, air conditioning.
A very clean, hotel room in the heart of Alba. Lovely front desk staff who helped us with our bicycles. Very good safe storage for our bicycles.
Lovely breakfast in the morning.
Naturally cool in the summer heat.
Fantastic location right on the main street in Alba. Apartment is a good size with large rooms and generally in good condition. We were welcomed by the host's mother, she was very pleasant and speaks good English.
This property is used as a retreat for meditative practice as well as religious functions. It’s location above the village of Alba is ideal for a quite respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life
The breakfast was very nice. They treated us very well. The room is ok, maybe a bit old and some things are broken. The Location is just perfect. for the same price, we would choose this hotel again.
Close to Alba, but still outside of town and away from the noise. Nicely designed—contemporary, clean aesthetic with touches of antique/vintage items, e.g doors. Bed was very comfortable.
An excellent small hotel right in the centre of Alba, very characterful. Our room was spacious with stylish decor. The restaurant was very good and the staff were extremely friendly.
Anna provided all we needed plus extra very nice touches. The space was large, spotless a quick walk to old town Alba and accessible to all the surrounding area.
