The owner greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. He did not push for us to go on extra excursions nor did he request us to focus on checking in immediately. He made it clear we were to focus on getting comfortable after our long journey. He spent time getting to know us and set a beautiful candlelit dinner up for us by the pool. The next day he drove us to the nearest village where we could buy lunch, and supplies for our stay in a desert camp the next day. He also drove us to our meeting point after check out. All of this at no extra charge. He also provided us with his contact details in case we hit any snags during our stay in the area. Our room was perfect with plenty of space. We were also given a tour of the hotel and I can attest that the other rooms were also stunning.

Overnight Safari Desert Camp, hotel in Merzouga

Overnight Safari Desert Camp is located in Merzouga. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a restaurant.

At our glamping resort in the desert, we had an incredible time! The views of the desert were truly magnificent, and the tents were opulent and roomy. The personnel went above and above to make sure we had everything we needed, and they were very kind and attentive. We had a great time engaging in the available activities, which included stargazing, sandboarding, and camel rides. We loved tasting all of the regional cuisine, and the food was equally great. All in all, our time at our desert experience glamping site was quite remarkable. We are eager to return at some point!nuy

Excellent Camp away from the main camp sites a little south of Merzouga. Super friendly and attentive staff, nice dinner, breakfast, camp fire with music after dinner and the camel ride before sunset was magical. Very comfortable tents, only ~6 tents so no big crowds. 100% mer our expectations. Tip: best to arrive ~6pm relax the at 7pm go on the camels to the dunes and su sunset. It is too hot if you arrive too early.

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent! Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed! Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice. Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.

absolutely loved this luxury camp! I was surprised by my husband on our honeymoon. I will never forget the feeling, the night stars, the fire, the music, the dunes. Exactly like in the bloody movie dunes! Very romantic. Loved detaching from technology, and being surrounded by genuine and sincere individuals. Impeccable hospitality and exceptionally fresh vegetarian food. Better than all the places we ate at in Morocco. Will go again in the future. Thank you, Omar! The highlight of this trip was definitely the stay in the desert. If you go to Morocco, you must go to Merzouga and stay in here! It was an amazing experience! The food was good, the service was excellent, the tents are perfect!!!!! We had a great time in the bonfire and with the music. Thanks to Hassan that was very attentive and made the stay a better one! Please be aware that it does not include the camels and the tents can get a little bit cold during the winter.

A fantastic experience in the desert that was made easy and seemless by Hassan. He organised everything and it all worked very well. In addition, we had 6 hours to wait for the trip with camels over the sand Dunes after arriving in Merzouga and he arranged for us to be at a pool at his families hotel for the cost of a lunch. This was a good deal - somewhere to go with a nice pool and view. I'd recommend using this company for your desert stay.

Everything - but this to be kept in context. It is located in the Sahara desert with all that brings. Merzouga is a town of dirt roads and extreme conditions. However, the family that run the hotel are making a brilliant job of it - very friendly- nothing is too much trouble, food is excellent. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend.

Everything, very beautiful hotel with desert view. The pool is a great surplus. Ali (the owner) is very friendly and tries to help the customer as much as possible. He even offered transportation to bus station very early in the morning. 100% I will return if I will come again to Merzouga. Thanks Ali!! 😁

We had a great experience in Morocco we would like to thank the guide youssef who did a great job of making us happy. Riding on camels in the desert is an incredible experience. We spent a wonderful night in the camp behind the desert, Merzouga.

Fantastic hotel in the desert near Merzouga. It was a much needed night of rest and relaxation before going out into the desert the next day. The food was great and we got upgraded to a suite which made the experience a little more sweet.

Excellent dinner, the best one in Morocco. The camp itself do not need any presentation. Pictures and services are real..really luxury stay in the middle of desert.
