Tallinn is very beautiful full of character.
Tallinn is very beautiful full of character. My top tips are the old town, Telliskivi area and the museums all round Tallinn. The negative sides that you might come acress in Tallinn are, not all Bolt drivers speak English, partygoers especially during weekends = lots of drunk people and last but not least the locals might often appear a bit rude. For example a cleaning lady might mop your feet, if you're not moving and are on her way or a waiter might be so cheeky that it makes one feel uncofortable and want to leave the place as soon as finished with the meal.

Wonderful inexpensive opera at the opera house. 40 euros for front row seats! The old town offers lots of places to explore. However, the cobblestoned streets require some extra attention when walking. Many restaurants including a number of delicious Georgian restaurants scattered throughout the town. The time to avoid Tallin itself is when a cruise ship arrives for the day. The town changes dramatically.

Lovely compact medieval Old Town with range of interesting churches to visit. Very photogenic. Plenty of restaurant options from local Estonian cuisine to Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Malaysian, Italian and generic European. Lots of non-chain bars and cafes. Not too busy in late April when I visited.
This is a beautiful hotel very close to Tallinn City Centre. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The spa is very relaxing. Breakfast is wonderful, lots of traditional and international options to suit all tastes and lovely views. Wifi was strong and TV has a lot of european stations. Chocolate hour in the lobby was a fun experience. Also there is a lovelysnug where you can buy wine/spirits via a prepaid card if the bar is closed. 10 minutes walk to the old town and 5 minutes to a great supermarket for everything you may need.
The apartment looks like new construction. Very clean and modern. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were larger than others we stayed at in Estonia. Good instructions on how to get in sent to me before arrival. Parking is tricky. The assigned parking spot is easily located straight ahead from the garage entrance. Located less than 15 minutes to Tallinn Airport. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is literally 8 min walk from the airport. It's a stylish modern hotel with huge mirrors inside the rooms.
Bathrooms are very nice too. The shampoo and soaps are of a very good quality. Solidly enjoyed our stay, thank you very much!
P.S. Very friendly young people at the reception. We arrived after the midnight and there was no trouble with the checking in as the reception is 24 hours.
- the location is amazing, right in the middle of the old town. You can walk wherever, as points of interest as well as all the necessities (supermarket, restaurants, etc.) are all at walking distance
- the hotel is relatively okay for the price, good value if you wanna spare some money
- the kitchen is relatively spacious and has everything you may need in terms of equipment
The hotel was spotless and vert clean, very quiet and breakfast was excellent - selection on offer and service provided was excellent. Room service was probably the best we ever had. Prosecco for breakfast was a lovely extra. Excellent location to old town as within its limits, very close to airport 10-15 minutes. Tallinn port about 7 minutes away for Helsinki tour.
The location is perfect for overnight stay in Tallinn. All the best shops and shopping malls are close by and the hotel is well located only 15 minute walk from the ship terminals. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The spa was small with few hot pools and one big pool and different saunas (and a bar).
Extremely friendly staff everywhere, I got the impression to be very much welcome. Breakfast, reception, spa, room and service - Simply perfect. Whenever I visit Tallinn again this hotel will be my first choice. Easy to reach from the airport by tram, just across the street you enter the old town. Greetings to the staff!
Great location. The old town is in front of the hotel, and the train terminal is next to it. Easy transportation to/from the airport. The wi-fi worked perfectly. The hotel is connected to a supermarket through a bridge. There were many options for breakfast, and the best part was the view of the old town from our room!
Hotel's location was excellent. Walking distance from every tourist attractions in old town. However, i had to walk a lot as my room was in the fifth floor and there was no elevator. The hotel is like a maze.
Very old property and slightly spooky. But it was a comfortable stay nonetheless.
The hotel is clean, the personnel is fluent in Estonian, Russian and English, the beds are comfortable, spacious and the location is awesome.
Also I received an upgrade and got a suit room with jacuzzi and extra space — thanks so much for your hospitality!
I am very glad I chose this hotel
It was about 15-20 minutes from the old town by car, which was so close to the airport as well. The hotel has a lot of parking space. The old lady at the reception was so nice and the breakfast was not bad. If you need an electric kettle, you can borrow at the reception.
This is one of the best hotels in the city when it comes to practicality vs luxury. Very practical approach, clean, simple yet comfortable hotel in the heart of the city in the quiet zone.
We are always staying with CityBox Tallinn and never had any problem.
The hotel is situated in Tallinn Historic Old Town, perfect location. It is an old hotel, true to its heritage, the interior is just perfect (if you appreciate the History), has the oldest lift in Estonia, I love the essence of that hotel.
The hotel's location was ideal, as it is in the center of the Old Town. The staff was very friendly and willing to speak in English. The breakfast was probably the best I had in Estonia, with a variety of dishes well prepared.
The experience with Ibis in Tallinn Estonia was the best I've had. The hotel room was spacious, with unexpected extras. The restaurant provided delicious food, especially the breakfast buffet. Thank you for a wonderful time.
We liked everything . Amazing breakfast. Room was small but really cosy , bed was comfortable. Location couldn’t be any better. This hotel will be my place to stay when in Tallinn. Loved the spa as well.
Amazing! We felt like we were on a 5 star luxury hotel holiday! Everything exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to stay there again! Definitely our new favourite hotel in Tallinn.
