Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

My son goes to Loughborough college and loves it. To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.KeithUnited Kingdom

Breakfast was fabulous (salmon, black pudding, fruit selections) although the ambience of the seating area was more geared towards large scale conference practicality rather than a premium/exclusive feel. Pool, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and exercise facilities were excellent. Extensive free parking included.

The hotel is just a 10 minute local bus journey to city centre (bus 127) and from there we used Sky Link to take us to/from Download at Donnington Park. This shuttle can also be used 24 hours every day to/from East Midland Airport.
