A lovely traditional pub selling great beer and serving excellent food. My room was compact but comfortable and well equipped. I wish I could have stayed longer as it is situated on a lovely part of the Thames.

Handy location in centre of Henley, short walk from train station. Easy to access the room. It was small but cosy and great for an overnight stay while visiting friends locally.

Located on the banks of the Thames at Henley, with the beautiful town being only a five minute walk through the grounds. This is a private members Hotel, the members contribute to its upkeep and running, so, certain standards of dress are expected, no,scruffy jeans, open sandals TShirts a dinner, nothing unreasonable .
Our, room, was perfectly comfortable, a standard twin , the cheapest room - but the views exceptional , with a veranda over the Thames. Room facilities were as stated. A larger room is available obviously.
Reception staff could not have been more helpful or polite
Residents were very friendly and welcoming and proud off their space.
Breakfast was very well indeed, cooked to perfection and plentiful.
Henley it’s self has an abundance of restaurants, a food lovers paradise,, we dined at The Square a most excellent and very very reasonable Portuguese .
When comparing other hotels in Henley for location , views, facilities and grandeur there really isn’t any comparison price wise we were amazed at this place and really considered ourselves fortunate to have stayed !
We highly rated The Phylis and would definitely return .

Henley is such a memorable town for us as I was at school there and grew up in the area. So for me it is well worth visiting.
We were disappointed with the river as it has (like so many other rivers) been flooded this year so we could not go for our usual walk along the River Thames which is so amazing.

Great place to walk around and see the boats on the river Thames, lovely old pubs and restaurants.
Probably would get very overwhelmed when the Henley regatta is on. Car parks could get a little overcrowded.

Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival,...
Fantastic location for the Rewind South 80's festival, didn't get to experience much that the rest of the town had to offer.
Seemed to be a general disconnect between the event management who knew how many tickets were sold, and the council/private business in providing services to accommodate that size crowd. For example: (1) event itself was cashless, but riverboat transport to & from only took cash, and no working ATM's in the town. This caused a lot of issues for a lot of people. (2) No temporary lighting along the river path despite knowing the path would be used by hundreds of people each night in the dark. The path is very narrow and not maintained in several places. (3) Disconnect between the advertised times of the boat service in the event literature vs the actual running times, left groups of people stranded last thing at night, then having to walk back along that very dark path

Beautiful town, with lovely small shops and very good restaurants. My daughter just moved here so we are delighted. It feels very safe and it is very clean. The Regatta was on so we enjoyed one day there and currently there is a music festival on. SO its rather busy right now.

A lovely little town to walk around especially along the river. You don’t need more than half a day unless you want to explore places outside the center. It has good boutique shops but no high street cheap fashion brands as it’s quite an upmarket little town. But it does have Boots, W H Smiths and Starbucks and a lot of good choices for eating. Have breakfast at Bijans, take a long walk along the river, lunch at The Bull, walk around the town and the dinner at The Giggling Squid.

Five star spotless accommodation with washing and kitchen facilities on site. Extremely comfortable King sized bed. Breakfast was very extensive and of excellent quality - even treated to eggs from the Handywater chickens! Owners very friendly and attentive and we were treated to a glass of prosecco in the garden which was a very welcoming touch. Quiet area close by to Henley on Thames with some very pleasant walking nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we were visiting the area again.
Location lovely, hotel very tired. Reception staff absolutely dreadful. Couldn’t have cared less if a guest walked through the door or not. Unable to give clear guidance on where to find the room. Was very short and rude when asked to explain again where the room was. No offer to be shown where to go nor any offer to be helped with luggage or anything.
Period Henley is a tastefully decorated, well appointed property in the centre of the beautiful market town of Henley on Thames. The car space makes exploring the greater area easy and when you are done everything in the town is an easy walk. Sian is a great host who communicates all information well.
The breakfast was exceptional, well presented, and delicious. Hosts very attentive, liked Richards sense of humour, he's very funny. My partner loves animals, so she loved the cats' chickens and fish. Great place to stay, will stay again, and would highly recommend it.
A lovely room in a lovely setting. Had a nice meal and then a delicious breakfast, both in the club house. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely coming back to stay and explore Henley on Thames more, which we drove to but will walk to next time.
Wonderful view of the Thames from our balcony. Everywhere was very clean. Housekeeping exceptional. Nice relaxed atmosphere in hotel. Within easy walking distance to Henley town centre.
Lovely swimming pool, fully COVID compliant. .
The accommodation is a period property, located centrally just off the beaten track. The centre of Henley on Thames was a very short walk away. Clean, simple basic accommodation at a very reasonable price. We were very comfortable.
Stunning members club - boutique hotel with direct waterfront at one of the loveliest stretches on the River Thames - at Henley!!!
A treasure that should not be missed - beautiful hotel and property - steps away fro the town center
Beautiful old hotel with restaurant. The rooms were nicely designed and the bed was comfortable. it is set in a wonderful location with sweeping views. The server Charley was very accommodating and made the stay special.
This was our 3rd stay at the Greenlands Hotel and as before the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We need to be in Henley again at some point in the summer and we will choose the Greenlands Hotel again for our stay.
Town centre location but also quiet. The parking space was secure and plenty of room. The flat was well equipped and worked well for a stay with two adults and two teenagers.
The sofa bed was very big.
We had a nice room at the front of the hotel. Large & comfortable.
The staff were particularly helpful as they moved us from a room overlooking some air conditioning vents on the side of the hotel.
The rooms are big with comfortable beds. The hotel is in the centre of the town. The staff have been very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend. Great value for money.
The location was perfect & the staff were all so friendly & professional!
We especially enjoyed Iaona!! She’s the perfect ambassador for such a wonderful hotel!!
