The hotel is nice and was renovated recently. Our room was a bit small but we had everything we needed. The bathroom was really nice and felt luxurious. The bedroom was okay but we stayed for a night and it was very good.

The property was extremely welcoming. You could tell everyone in the pub knew each other, and all of the staff were happily employed there and were looked after by their employer. Everyone was happy to chat to us - both the staff behind the bar and the people using the pub too. The pub was situated in a very quiet area, with the coast literally 30 seconds walk away. The room we stayed in had a huge comfortable bed and large wardrobe. The range of programmes on the TV in the room was also useful. We were concerned when we first arrived to learn we were staying above a pub as we weren’t aware of this before we went, but we didn’t hear a thing. The room was lovely and quiet.

Banff is a beautiful seaside town, with a lovely harbour and great views over to neighboring MacDuff. We had planned to visit historic Duff House, but unfortunately it was closed because of flooding... next time!

Banff is my home town and having grown up there I have a connection to the town and the area and I enjoy returning for short visits from time to time. Although it is different now and suffers the same demise of retail businesses that plagues all town centres, there is still much to do for the visitor. Golf, angling, dolphin spotting, sailing, walking, cold water swimming, dining, drinking, the art at Duff House, local museum, ...... a good base to enjoy the Scottish Riviera coast line with Pennan (of Local Hero fame), Gardenstown, MacDuff (Marine Aquarium), Portsoy (Boat Festival and Peaky Blinders).... and more. Hotels include Banff Springs and Fife Lodge and there are AirB&Bs to rent for a longer stay.

Lovely town.
Lovely town. The spotty bag shop is an Aladdin’s cave and has everything anyone could want out of a shop. You need to visit. Great bakery called Home bakery. Lovely coffee shop called Annie’s cakery. A must for a lovely cake and a drink.
It’s difficult to describe just how lovely our stay at Nether Dallachy was. After 5 weeks travelling around the UK, it’s definitely our favourite B&B. Perfectly situated in a quieter area away from the main road but close enough to enjoy the many & varied delights of the Speyside region. We really cannot recommend Nether Dallachy highly enough. Tip: if you have an interest in or connection to the old RAF Banff airfield, be sure to mention it to Nigel.
This property had every facility and products to quick start our mini break. The hosts even provided bread and milk which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook ourselves and recycling bins outside made it super handy. The bathroom also had products available incase we forgot anything. The finish and cleanliness throughout was that of a high priced hotel and the location was perfect for a morning walk on the beach.
Eagles Lodge is a beautiful cottage in an Idyllic setting with nealy everything we needed, they had left a great welcome pack of essentials including prosecco. We had gone to see family in Banff and Inverurie some of who we hadn't seen for over 10yrs. The garden was perfect for us all to gather for a get together and a BBQ. We will definitely book agai and I do recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful location within walking distance of beautiful beaches, small bays and harbour.
Accommodation was perfect. Large lounge and dining room with windows overlooking Banff bay. Saw dolphins in the bay one evening.
Kitchen very well kitted out with everything you needed if you wanted to cook.
Utility room had 2nd fridge with freezer.
We were here for a party night on the 9th of December. The hotel staff were fabulous. Couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was lovely! The meal.. amazing! The band.. wow!!! And breakfast in the morning the icing on the cake. Such a beautiful hotel to stay in. Will definitely stay again!! Thankyou all for making our stay a great one 🥰x
The hotel has recently been refreshed both inside and out. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and efficient.
The room was well turned out and had a large bathroom equipped with both a bath and a shower.
The restaurant provided excellent food both in the evening and a super cooked breakfast.
Nice family room. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner. Hotel was within walking distance to the other venue we were attending a wedding reception at. Breakfast was the perfect amount and very tasty. Lovely chat with hotel owner.
situated right in the centre of Banff our accommodation was in the perfect location. Our hosts were really helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cottage itself was perfect, very clean - we would highly recommend.
Host was old fashioned honest. Recommended lovely hotel for a great meal and took time writing down directions. Made you feel very welcome and also left you alone to relax. Great views and value.
Great little cottage in the heart of Banff. Clean, big and everything as advertised. Host was lovely whenever we had any questions. Would definitely revisit.
