Fabulous location on the waterfront, very quiet and comfortable hotel. Meals were well presented and tasted wonderful. The single room was very spacious and quiet, with a high quality bed and linen. All the reception and catering staff were unfailingly polite and professional, but see my adverse comments elsewhere.

A renovated hotel full of character ( including one or two quirky features), beautifully situated and offering a very good breakfast. The pre-arrival information led me to expect an unstaffed check-in (it being Tuesday) but happily there was a helpful human being there to greet me.

We knew this building as the original tourist information office when he had lived in this town in the early 1980s, so we were intrigued to see what it was like as a boutique hotel. We weren’t disappointed.
Was a cool historic hotel. Loved the town. Hotel staff were friendly. Only thing I would recommend is that if you can't do stairs, that you request a ground floor room. We were fine with doing the stairs ourselves. The hotel can't put in an elevator due to its historic designation. :) Nevertheless I would stay there again

That Brielle is a fortress from the 15 centure and fully surrounded with a dike and water is very special. Also the old tow with narrow streets and the old 19 centure buildings is unique . Brielle is worth a visit

Very picturesque set around Brielle Mere
Good bus access to metro for Rotterdam and surrounding areas
Taxi's expensive and be very careful that they understand where your hotel is - ie Brielle and not in Rotterdam as there are similar named hotels in Rotterdam

We were in Brielle specifically for the annual Blues Festival and as always it was great fun. This hotel is next to one of the stages but the music stops around 10pm, so is not a hindrance to a good nights sleep. The town itself is full of history and great to wander round the old and new areas and especially along the old fortifications etc. that surround the old town. Loved the main church which played a variety of music on the tower bells, including some '90's pop! The whole town seems friendly and it is easy to make friends here - just start up a conversation and see where it leads...
My room was spacious and at the back of the Hotel so it was much quieter than my colleagues on the other side.
If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the Hotel!
The receptionist was very accommodating and made every effort to make our stay smooth and relaxed, Thank you! The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, in a hotel ever! Bliss!!
The food in the bar is better than the menu suggests :)
The Poorter Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is in the oldest building in Brielle and set on a quiet, quaint street. The rooms are tastefully updated and very modern. The service is impeccable. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The town of Brielle was also a delightful surprise. I wish we had planned a longer visit.
The hotel is in the best location, just in the old town. The beds were comfortable, the room very clean and a good internet. We shared toilette and shower with other guests. But, it was not an issue. There are lots of parking place nearby, as well as lots of restaurants, bars, museum and shops. Keep in mind there are no lifts in the hotel.
they charged us money. we paid online but when we went for a late checkin innige middle of the night, they said they canceled our room. we had to stay in the car the whole night and it was too cold. no other hotel was available. the guy on the reception, who is the owner behaved like this. terrible! I won’t recommend this property.
Tasteful look& feel in a small boutique hotel where staff genuinely want guests to feel welcome, the rooms are comfortable and everything has just that little extra personal touch. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again. Fabulous breakfast options, too!
Super, super nice hosts! Location in the old Town. Apartament is in old house, on levels😁. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We had a stylish bathtube in our bedroom. Welcome wine on the table. I can recommend this place if someone wants to see Brielle, Rotterdam or Hague, close enough.
The location for this hotel is great--right off a main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. They provided bicycle parking, too. The value for the location was a plus. There was no coffee maker in the room, but they gave me coffee downstairs in the morning for free.
Great atmosphere. Loved the staff.
I would love to go back.
It was my first visit to Holland, and I was very impressed.
That was all thanks to the reception at the hotel.
Especially at the bar in the evening, and at breakfast, whilst having a coffee.
Best Wishes Chris
I needed to join a vessel early in the morning at the maasvlakte and therefore chose this hotel. I had been here before and liked it. The room was spacious, air conditioning working well and I loved to find a coffeemaker in the room.
The hotel has its own restaurant and bar.. the size of the room was ok for Holland. Nice atmosphere near the hotel in the evening. Friendly staff. .music and art shops nearby. Dutch snack restaurant right opposite the hotel
Breakfast was great, location, in the middle of the city center was great. The provided city tour was great. Free parking behind the hotel.. Bathroom was new and clean. Beds were comfy and room was quite big.
Affordable hotel which is relatively close to the beach, and in a nice city. Simple room with good climate control and basic facilities. Breakfast is simple, but fine to start the day with
Friendly staff and a good restaurant bar. Breakfast is good and available very early. Older, interesting building in a good location in the centre of Brielle.
The hotel is very well designed, stylish and functional. Breakfast was awesome and the staff very friendly. We had a great stay and will for sure come again.
