The architecturally beautiful house allowed for a very pleasant and comfortable time spent with the family. A shaded terrace on the first floor, where you can eat, talk and enjoy your stay. Well-equipped kitchen. And a nice treat and drink from the owner. An amazing very old grape tree growing in the house and providing shade on the terrace. Many other plants make the atmosphere pleasant.

Everything was perfect and thanks to Mr.Frank for helping us and provide us with everything we asked. This was the second time that we stayed here and for sure it wont be the last.
Very spacious, immaculately spotless room. This was our first time at Quaint and it sure won't be our last. Breakfast next door was good with a selection of both hot and cold choices including the full English. Staff is lovely, friendly and very courteous. Gozo always makes for a lovely break, but a stay at Quaint sure takes it to the next level!

This village is quaint and picturesque, with a huge church in the middle of it, surrounded by lively square where people like to hang around; we've seen people with horses passing by -- preparing for a special event. But I couldn't help but wonder: for whom the bells toll all the time, even at 4 am?

Either you look for a sunny time on the beach or sightseeing - Xewkija is a good place for both. Public transport is fine, one can try diving, check Victoria, hike along the cliffs - and close the day at Giovanni's, with nice wine and good food.

Xewkija is central to all area in Gozo - all points of interest are only 15/30 mins away so would totally recommend this location. Hire a car as it much easier to get around rather than waiting for buses. There isn't much in Xewkija but small square with cafe/restaurants (3 in total) which was perfect for us are we were out travelling around all day and enjoyed drink and food here some evenings.
Ta Cent Cliffs are stunning
Xlendi Bay is beautiful - jump off the rocks into clear blue sea
Dwerja Bay, Xwejni Bay & Salt Pans a must see.
Victoria is a lovely city and only up the road.
Sans Blas Bay - is lovely but beach has been washed away with storm but sill nice, except for steep hill down to it!
Marsalforn - is a nice resort but bit commercial and full of restaurants/pub. Around the bay towards Salt Pans are nicer bays.
Go Scuba Diving to see hundreds of fish (recommend NEXT DIVE - Mike is a real character and amazing instructor)
As a family of 4 and mother (82) we loved Gozo and preferred it to Malta as less hectic and easier to get around. (malta is lovely too but very crowded in aug and much more commercial).
Overall the beaches in Malta and Gozo aren't great but its all about the rocks and jumping off them, which is great fun. The water is clear blue and warm. Also lot of ladders into the sea.
We spend 7 nights Malta and 3 nights Goza - after vising Goza would have liked to have done 5 nights in each island instead.

Xewkija is a small sleepy town perfect for a quiet romantic getaway.. Walking around the town is easy and pleasant. The beautiful church dominates the whole square in the center of the town. A must see if you visit Xewkija, so majestic that it captures you heart and will make you want to come again.

Very quite area .
Very quite area . Parcking no problem, The pool is big enogh for swimming especially with children .. Breakfast a little poor from other guest houses in gozo no sausages and no bacon.. This guest house is not in the heart of Gozo need to travel by buses / car to reach some lovely beaches like Marsalforn or Xlendi BAY.. In my opinion this guest house needs some referbishment to modernise it.. Early 80's Design..
We just spent a few nights in Warda and I have nothing but praise. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable, with everything being brand new. Views were amazing. House is also very central to the Xewkija square. We walked there and found several restaurants.
Pool and common areas are very large. The breakfast was immaculate, and the hosts are very helpful and come greet you themselves. I would recommend Warda to anyone! We definitely need to visit again!
It was value for money, xewkija square is very nice with access to church, restaurants, considerate parking space and at the same time still tranquille place where you can relax. Our stay at Quaint Boutique was above expectations very friendly receptionist, esquisite breakfast and comfortable room with jacuzzi. We will surely visit again 😊
The owner was friendly...Although we were only one couple that booked at the hotel she gave us the permission to let my 2 daughters and grandchild using the pool all day without any fee. On the day of departure we didn't have a room from 10;00 am but the owner she was so gentle that she let us all using the pool all day.
Hotel was located right next to a restaurant, where they served nice breakfasts. You can also have the lunches and dinner at the same restaurant. Other eatery places are right around the square. Bus stop from the ferry to Victoria was also nearby within 2mins. Gorgeous church located in the same square.
We stayed in a room with a terrace. It was amazing- the terrace was huge, private, clean and cozy. Our room was with a countryview so we could enjoy long evenings in there. The cleanlines was very good, staff was kind and helpful. The meals in hotel's restaurant are really cheap and tasty.
What a gem. Beautiful house, lovely room with very comfy bed, great location (first time I have stayed in Xewkija and it is a revelation!) and charming hosts. Tina and...I think John? were very welcoming and helpful. I wish I had stayed longer and will be back for sure.
It felt like going back to medieval. I loved the place. It's close to the university campus and to the cathedral in xewkija. The host is extremely friendly.
