Sauze has a great range of skiing linking into the Milky Way and other close by resorts. English is widely spoken, food is reasonabley priced, ski shops abound. Great for skiing. so many slopes/km of trails. Local people are friendly. village/town is nice and great food / restaurants. It's a shame that for 50 Euro/day the ski resort has no gondolas or faster lifts. Otherwise we love coming here!

A lovely little town with many great bars, restaurants and of course great skiing! The Old Town is all picturesque cobble streets and cosy venues and the apres ski is also good. Sauze is easy to get to being 4 miles / 6 km from the motorway. It has a wide range of excellent restaurants and bars with very easy access to all ski areas including Sestriere and the French Alps

Sauze d'Oulx is a very quaint town with a lot of history.
Sauze d'Oulx is a very quaint town with a lot of history. If you want a cosy, picturesque stay in the mountains better to stay in Sauze than Sestriere if you're looking to ski at the Via Lattea resort. There are many good restaurants such as La Griglia and many bars, including sports bars. A lovely deli (Gastronomia) which I picked up many treats from and a pasticceria (Pasticceria Valsesia) where I bought loads of lovely Italian biscuits to take home with me.Alice - 10Scored 10

Amazing after-ski vibe. Cute village with a lot of restaurants serving delicious food. You do have to book ahead or you find yourself flitting from one establishment to the next trying to find a table for dinner. Cobblestoned roads. Easy acces to ski lifts and rental ski shops and easy to find shops selling ski gear. On rhe fownaide i found no dki instructirs availablexthere and then so it s importantvto pre book

Basic breakfast but plenty to eat and nothing cooked. No evening meals and there is a bar but no one is ever there and no one from the hotel socialises there, everyone goes into town. Consider the hotel as a base only to sleep, shower and get a basic breakfast and you won't be disappointed. Staff very friendly and helpful.AndyUnited Kingdom

Couldn’t be in a better location for the ski lift in jouvenceaux, and lifts are kindly arranged each evening up to Sauze which is then just a short walk downhill back. Breakfast was brilliant. What makes this place is the people - so kind and thoughtful, planning taxis / recommending and booking restaurants. Nothing too much trouble.
