Old town is very much a tourist area, food is below average at most of the restaurants, pricey and service is lacking all around Scottsdale- pack your own snacks. Beautiful resort , two really nice pool areas . The breakfast was satisfying and they have a really nice social hour that it also really engaging for the guest ! Rooms were nice and clean just a bit smaller and can use a few updates . On arrival and seeing the pool area I actually remembered that I'd stayed here before some years ago. I think it may have had some small renovations over the years. Everything about this hotel is fine for a short stay. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable and there's a fridge/freezer. The location is really good, very close to Tempe and downtown Scottsdale is only a short drive too. The area felt safe enough.

We had an issue with our first room, but they were nice enough to upgrade us to a nicer room right next to the pool. Staff overall were very friendly and helpful, and room service was very quick with a nice menu to choose from.

We had a lounge room complete with sofa and desk as well as two large beds (3 adults). We loved being able to watch tv on the sofa. Easy walking distance to Old Town with restaurants and shops galore. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and perhaps the best we have had on this month long US trip. I’d definitely be staying here again.
