Grynfrwn was wonderful! The town was delightful with many shops and a handful of restaurants. Lots of lunch and tea spots. There were plenty of sites to visit for a small town such as a castle, 1600s home, port area and church’s! The hotel had a great breakfast, and wonderful hosts and staff plus an American style bathroom. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The castle dominates the skyline on approach to the town. Wandering through it and climbing up the towers was awesome. The walk around the top of the city walls was also interesting. It was one of our two favorite places in Wales. It'sa very walkable small town. Had a great lunch at "Two on the Square" sandwich shop.
Historic town. EASILY walkable, cobbles notwithstanding. Everything (historic sites, restaurants, waterfront) easily accessible from anywhere inside the walls. Could be problematic for driving, but we trained in so not a problem for us. Near-perfect weather helped, but would still be a nice visit even with wet weather.

Conwy was a beautiful town that we enjoyed very much. We could walk everywhere and see the castle from anywhere. There were a lot of pubs with good food and we also ate at 2 higher end restaurants that we enjoyed very much. Walk to the quay and enjoy the locals and tourists having a good time.

We went to Conway for an Easter break with our 4 year old Grandchild. We also took our well behaved dog Harvey. We have travelled all over Europe with our dog and never had a problem taking him anywhere.
However most restaurants, pubs and shops in Conway we found would not allow dogs. Even the castle where we were unable to experience this main attraction with our grandchild and the staff being very dismissive when we asked. We were not allowed into the shoe shop!
Despite having a wonderful cottage to stay in, we will not be staying in Conway again and will inform other dog owners of this unfriendly side to the town.

Quiet at this time of year, (February) gets very busy in summer.
We found a good Indian restaurant, Spice Safai, only very small, but the food was very good.
Parking charges during the day are a bit high, not very welcoming for visitors, but they have you over a barrel!
The castle dominates the town and is quite something. We didn't visit it perhaps next time.
Lots of quirky shops etc.
I was down for the weekend exploring north Wales. I drove and found lots of places to visit within a 30 drive of the hotel.
Conwy has lots to see and Llandudno was only 30ish mins away by car and easy to spend a whole day there so the hotel sits in a good location.
Nice that the rooms had hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.
It was nice and quiet location, benches outside to sit and eat. Staff were very friendly at check in. Really liked that the car park was so big too plenty of spaces.
We really adored the individual retro style of the hotel. Our room was cosy but also had plenty of space, including our own little sitting room. The furnishings, artworks and collectables, all so carefully chosen by our hosts, make this a truly original and fun place to stay. The bed was very comfy, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. The hotel is really close to city walls and Conwy Castle, so views from our room were lovely. Plenty of good pubs nearby too.
Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Quay Hotel and Spa. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was large with plenty of room for toiletries etc. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which was very tasty and we had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive and there was a lovely view of Conwy castle and the estuary from the front of the hotel. We would happily return here and recommend to friends.
Great location about a 5 to 10 minute walk from Conwy Castle and town. Kitchen and living space really modern and has all the amenities. Really nice powerful shower. Place was really clean. Beds lovely and comfortable and there was a nice sitting area outside which was great to sit and relax. We had a lovely relaxing time in North Wales and the accomodation complemented and really helped us yo ha e enjoyed our stay.
Loved the experience at Hilton 🙂nearly cancelled after reading reviews! So glad we didn't as the hotel was great very clean and modern . Good shower bedding ,perfect for our 14 year old who loved the table tennis and pool which were free .
Water sports were great 👍 we tried paddle boarding .local town fantastic, great breakfast next to the castle Hotel in conwy .
Staff were lovely and friendly 😊
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. B&B is beautiful, vomfort at its best. Central to all areas. Places to heat were Erskine and Castle Hotel...butbe warned book a table in advance as extremely busy, quality if food exceptional. Breakfast in the B&B excellent. Loved out stay and travelled out to Llandudno to the nature reserve a sight to see on a sunny day. Thank you will be back.
Perfect location near Conwy castle, 200 yards from town center. Comfy bed, great duvets, good size room. Breakfasts are amazing, so much choice available. Bus stop opposite the hotel which is very handy, day rover ticket on arrive works well.
A really nice location with great views overlooking the bay towards Holyhead and Puffin Island. Full Welsh breakfast served each morning which was freshly cooked and hot. Easy access to hotel from A55 North Wales Expressway.
Spotlessly clean. Lovely location. Short walk into Conwy Town. Very considerate welcome package of a freshly baked loaf, homemade butter, fresh milk and a cake. Comfortable bed and superb shower.
The hotel is centrally located. Close to the rail station and across the street from the castle. Perfect! The room was spacious and the "bagged" breakfast delivered to our door was also perfect.
Everything was perfect. Loved the town of Conwy and the Erskine Arms Hotel was in an excellent location for walking to the small town and to the Conwy Castle. Highly recommend.
Lovely place, lovely people, great location. Walk across the park into town, or straight on to the castle walls. Easy to find and park. Excellent breakfast and extras.
The staff, facilities and ambience of the hotel and Spa Facilties were all excellent and of a very high standard going above and beyond our expectations.
