I booked this room 30 minutes before my estimated arrival time, as we were on a road trip. When I arrived in Moffetta google map said I had 6 minutes to arrive at my destination. However, there was a festival and I found, after driving for an hour and speaking with police, that my destination was not accessible. When I asked for a refund, the host refused, though she understood her property was inaccessible. I could have walked 20 minutes, with my luggage and my daughter, to the property (late at night, after driving many hours), but that wasn't in the property description, so that wasn't what I agreed to pay for. Selling something under false description is fraud. Also, be warned, Booking.com is not helpful in these cases, they choose to act as a mediator instead of a protection for bad acting hosts. Spend a bit extra with Airbnb or VRBO if you don't like to be left exposed.

From the wonderful hostess to staying in one of the oldest buildings in Molfetta with private access to part of the original town wall, everything about it was magic. The apartment is tastefully decorated, warm, welcoming, an abundance of all amenities. One of the best places I gave stayed in, an excellent bed too. I can’t recommend it highly enough!! I’m hoping to return for a few more days.

As an aussie with roots and family in Molfetta, i was thrilled to see the old city restored with chic restaurants and accommodation (not the case back in 1985). Molfetta is rich in history, character and culture. The highlite of my trip was the Easter celebrations and festivities. So emotional and moving. Next time, will visit in September for the Madonna Dei martini feast. Arriverdeci Molfetta

Molfetta is a wonderful small city to visit.
Molfetta is a wonderful small city to visit. It has wonderful food and beaches. All beaches are rocky, sea shoes are a must. Car rental is preferable, as most of the nicer beaches are 5-10 mins car ride away

quite a beautiful city with a beautiful seafront and port with beautiful scenery. Many cafes and restaurants. we liked it! from the minuses, it is difficult to move with a baby carriage on the streets.
all beaches have stones. you need special shoes to be comfortable there.
But there is one small sandy beach where most of the children rest. it is safer for a child there than on an ordinary beach, because there is a special construction in the sea so that big waves do not get there.

Molfetta is a lovely seaside town that truly deserves some time to explore it. Experiencing the sunset from the edge of the old part of town by the breakwater is absolutely stunning! Molfetta is full of local life - children playing in the streets, elderly meeting and chatting on park benches or gathering around local coffee shops, families out for a stroll... The old part of town is very beautiful and fun to wander in its alleyways and there is a busy shopping street located steps from the old section of town. It makes a very nice stop when heading to or from Bari airport as it is conveniently located about 20 minutes away.

The location is not acessible via taxi,
the street is too narrow, the host did not tell me
this pior to arrival. Furthermore, the local people told me the area
is not safe to walk alone, in particular in evening.
The apartment is perfect for a long stay in Puglia! The interior is very beautiful, clean and the apartment is equipped with everything you need.
The owners Marta and Enzo were the perfect hosts and were very, very helpful and kind. The communication was quick and easy via WhatsApp.
Molfetta is a beautiful city and also a great place to start from when visiting all the beautiful places in Puglia!
I can highly recommend to stay at Mate‘ Apartment!
Amazing place!
We stayed in the apartment for 5 days and we loved it! It was clean and we'll equiped,
and the balcony was really amazing, I loved spending the evenings there. The location is also really good, it was 5 minutes from the Molfetta beach (which is free) and 15 minutes from the train station.
The host was really helpful and friendly, he even drove us from the train station to the apartment.
I would recommend this apartment to everyone!
Our stay in Vincenzo’s and Emanuela’s apartment was really good. Room is nice and clean. Location within Molfetta is great. Close to beach, close to “centro historico”, good bars and restaurants in walking distance. Food and wine are delicious there. Molfetta is quiet place, no tourist, just locals, we enjoyed it a lot. Vincenzo and his wife were always ready to help with anything, they care of their client so nice🙏.Grazzie🌞🌞🌞

Good working AC and WiFi. Comfortable shower.
Godd location: great bakery with tasty foccacia just behind the corner.
Friendly and helpful host.
Molfetta is nice option for someone who wants to avoid crowds in Bari. No foreign tourists but still great range of restaurants and bars which makes Molfetta charming port town.
Local trains are in reasonable prices and provide good service.
The medieval architecture, white stone, elegance and the historical significance of the property is awe-inspiring and takes one back in time to when the Italians were the leaders in European artisan style, excellence and beauty. Near the beach, restaurants and a quaint church, we were able to enjoy a variety of cuisine and we saw two weddings at the chapel adjacent to the hotel.
The view of the harbor was amazing, the pictures on the website do not even tell the whole story. The sunset was breathtaking as we enjoyed our night here. The rooms were exactly what we needed after a day on the road. The location is in an older structure, but the rooms were updated and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Molfetta again.
Very very very nice view on the port of Molfetta, direct view on the sunset, we bought bread, mortadella, cheese, drank beverages and sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view.
There’s a free parking just in front of the B&B, make sure you park on the right side (white sign), and not after the sign (limited zone). You may also park on the road along the port.
The location is fabulous, so near the beach and old historic town Molfetta. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom sufficient. The contact person Ylena was very competent and friendly. Helpful when some things needed attention. Breakfast was ok, thou not much choice.
Perfect place to stay in a cosy town near Bari, at the historical center of Molfetta one minute away from the sea and the fishing port where it is possible to buy directly to the fishermen. The host are very friendly, the place is spacious and clean. I would come back next time!
We used this as our home base as we explored Southern Italy. Our apartment was perfect for the two of us! The bed and the sofa were so comfortable. The girls at the front desk were so caring and helpful. We hated to leave! Best hotel on our trip!
The room is spatious and comfortable, looks much better than in the photos. Bed is good. The owner was very helpful and each day brought us fresh cookies.
You get a coupon for breakfast, which is pastry and coffee in a local cafe.
Location of this place was really great. Close to the beach and the center. Molfetta is beautiful town. Very good contact with the host. The apartment was clean and cosy.
The apartment is on perfect location, very close to the sea and historic center of beautiful Molfetta. It is very suitable and clean and has anything what is needed.
