Upon arrival the outside of the Posada is unimposing but...when you enter it's magical! The decor, color, plants, garden and pool are beautiful. The staff is wonderful and extremely heloful, the included breakfast choices are great and the food and service is spot on. Our room was ground level with a king bed, desk, night tables, chest and armore with safe. The bathroom was extremely large with a tub/shower and plenty of hot water. The location is about 3 blocks to the center of town and the plaza - terrific shopping and restaurants. Do not hesitate to make a reservation here - you won't be sorry.

This was my first time staying at Luna Sacra. The hotel is charming, and the architecture is that of a Mexican Hacienda style. and the staff so welcoming, professional and helpful. They gave me suggestions on where to eat and what to do around town. I had no idea Tapalpa is so beautiful, I have to go back and spend a few more days there and will definitely stay again at Luna Sacra. I highly recommend it. The beds and pillows at this place are so comfortable. I pay attention to detail and cleanliness at this hotel was superb!. The location is very good. A couple of blocks away from the main Plaza.
