Location, cleanliness, friendly and attentive staff

Nice location for College, downtown and sightseeing.
This Schenectady, New York hotel is located 14 miles outside of Albany city center, and features free Wi-Fi and a daily continental breakfast. Albany International Airport is 9 miles away.
The breakfast was decent enough to get your day started.
Schenectady Downtown is nice, little, but lively. There are very good restaurants, bars, and an Italian bakery. The Proctors bring a lot of business. So is the Movie Theater on the corner. It is safe to walk around those streets at night.

Great for a quick trip to go to the casino or out for drinks with friends. We had a good meal at johnny C’s pizza and restaurant. Staff were friendly and food was great. Casino was good but we didn’t win anything boo!

Apparently if you leave your vehicle unlocked everything in it will be stolen from the hotel parking lot. There is a homeless shelter about 200 ft from the hotel. And there are no cameras for the parking area. Nor is there enough parking for hotel guests.

the management went out of their way to be accommodating, especially in allowing us to extend the checkout time due to a wedding. We could not have been more pleased with their understanding and cooperation. Thanks Ravi and staff

I suggest if you're a single mother with kids not to go someone has Tryed to Enter my Room 5:00 a.m. They are preying on single mothers.. sex trafficking in organ Trafficking This is real If you was to ever stay in any hotel please make sure you put that top lock on Because front desk gives your key to anyone
I enjoyed the location in the historic district of Schenectady, NY. No breakfast was offered but the property is around the corner from a cute place offering coffee, pastries, and cold breakfast items. I will be happy to support this business in the future because I feel that it is important to preserve and support historic, independently run establishments. The room was nicely appointed.
Very nice choices for each day’s breakfast. Good selection of drinks to buy in the lobby. Loved the Schenectady photos in the lobby. Outdoor seating was great! Parking lot very clean. The front desk, dining room staff and housekeepers were top shelf-friendly, helpful, a bunch of real assets to the hotel.
My family and I were moving across country. Scotia is the town we now live in. This was our last hotel. And the best hotel. We had a delay on our home buying and had to stay in this hotel for a while. They were so kind. They went above and beyond helping us.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit, which is why we were there. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks.
The hotel was within a two minute walk from the play we attended. The full bteakfast the next morning was wonderful! We had several choices plus there were omelettes, potatoes, sausage and two different flavors for waffles! Delicious!
The Staff were exceptional. The hotel was very clean. I could tell the Staff are invested in the property to keep it clean and appealing. I could see this is an older hotel…but again felt very good to be there.
I was very satisfied with the whole experience staying at the hotel...the staff was wonderful..and the room was clean and comfy...and the kids loved the heated pool and the pool area was clean and comfy..,..
NOTHING! I did not stay because the hotel did not honor my reservation.
This hotel completely dissed me! I stayed here previously about 5 years
ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but not THIS time!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The hotel was very nice for the amount paid. Would definitely stay again!
I was biking the Erie Canal and as this was the last hotel I decided to splurge a bit. It was luxury compared to other places I’d stayed, apart from 2 B&Bs.
The location to what we wanted to see was adequate. I like the ability to be able to check in with no issues. The hotel is pet friendly which was a plus.
