Cleanliness was excellent, food was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no shuttle, the pool was small and unavailable most of the time, and when it was ,it was filled with children. No ability to stream new movies or selection. Would have paid to see movies but they were not available.

I always liked Bethesda, for its village atmosphere and wide range of shops and restaurants. My favourite restaurant this visit was Mon Ami Gabi, a perfect and authentic French restaurant (although the staff say they are concerned that a planned revamp will lose it some of its charm). I was sorry to see that some favourite stores have gone, Orvis on Wisconsin Avenue and the book store on Bethesda and Arlington. There used to be a Ranger Surplus store in Bethesda, now there isn't even one in Rockville......shaneIreland - 10Scored 10
I had a great stay for three nights.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and large. On the negative side, there were issues with the credit card machine on check in, only decaf coffee in our room, and our wifi was shut off in the morning well before check out.

We had a really nice stay, came in for a long weekend to enjoy our anniversary. The hotel was nice, food was good and the bar was opened. We got some sightseeing in and then just relaxed a the hotel. Close walk to the metro.

I loved the fact that the metro was under the property which was very convenient considering we took the metro every day. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We walked around Bethesda Row the first night but most of the restaurants/shops were already closed because it was later on a Sunday night when we arrived.TamaraUnited States of America

Much better than the hotels that I have stayed at. Fully furnished apartment that was spacious, clean and conveniently located within minutes of where I was working. The building is also located in the Woodmont Triangle so you have no shortage of options for food and entertainment. I will almost certainly be looking to book again at Global Luxury Suites Bethesda :)

Its right next to the metro and the trains can take you most everywhere in DC. The hotel is far enough from DC to be cheaper, but close enough that the train in is easy. To get to metro station it was about 40 minutes, and it goes by fast. Also the kids museum is right next door which is great with families with kids.
