We had stayed overnight in Pocatello a number of times, just not in the Fall or at the Fairfield Inn. We now plan to make a trip just to this city next year to take in the various attractions there and its vicinity.

Pocatello is a beautiful high desert city in Southern Idaho.. it was July so it was obviously super hot.. I was there for a Drs appointment so I didn't do much sight seeing.. I do know there's a lot of open in public drug use down by the University. Personally seen it with my own eyes at the Days Inn across the street.. that part of town is gross. What's really sad.. I didn't see one police officer for the 2 days I stayed down there

I hit a deer an hour outside of Pocatello, totalling my vehicle. I was travelling by myself with my two dogs 14 hours away from home. Everyone I dealt with - state police officers, dispatcher, hotel employees/management, autobody company - were all so kind and compassionate, and I felt that they all had my well being at the forefront. This makes me feel the the community of Pocatello is certainly great.

Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible.
Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible. It was very dirty with mildew in tub area, only 2 lights out of 4 worked in Bathroom. Shower head was barely hanging on two the wall. Paint following off ceiling in bathroom and room. Sheet was not put on bed correctly. Just throwing over the sheet over mattress is not correct. We should have left but we just traveled many miles in car and needed to rest. Our error. We got around 2 hrs, sleep and then left the dirty place.

Nice and quiet area.
Nice and quiet area. The hotel is close to other hotels as well as plenty of dining options and even grocery stores. We dined at Texas Roadhouse and MacKenzies. The nearby event center was really nice!
COVID protocols were in place, no breakfast and no fitness room but pool was open in full swing. Website is still advertising breakfast and fitness rooms- and many hotels have made these amenities work with the to-go bags and fitness room sign ups.
Hotel is older, clean but outdated. I have never seen a hotel room without a coffee maker. Come for the pool or its best to save the money and find a cheaper motel since the pool is the only amenity.
Filthy, there was a broken vase in the corner when we arrived and they never picked it up!
The floors in the hotel were filthy! Carpet on the steps was old and worn and dangerous.
We kept begging for clean towels as they never cleaned the room, got them the 3rd day!
The restaurant was ALWAYS closed, but the bar was open!
Red Lion WAS a good name, but won’t ever stay in another one!
The room design was just great, we were in the Western room, and really everything is designed like that - saloon doors, a shower within a watering can etc. Really cool. The room was cooled down when we arrived, unlike the hotel before - and this was very appreciated given the 105 degrees outside. We liked it!
we decided to look into a house to stay in rather than a hotel. this house was quaint and worked for what we needed for the most part. nice to have a functional kitchen and space for our family. for being an older home, it has been painted up nice and is a comfortable space.
It is a very large place, very cozy, and in close proximity to everything one needs in Pocatello. This two bedroom apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, plus everything one needs in terms of sleeping, bathing, and relaxing. The hot tub on the patio is a HUGE +!!!
I have stayed at this hotel before and always had great service from the staff. The location is great, close to the Interstate. I was given a discount of 25 dollars upon checkout due to the many issues in our room. This was appreciated.
I liked everything about it. the value was worth it with great amenities. the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. probably one of the best hotels I’ve been in. the staff was great too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
Staff was nice, called us to let us know that hotel under construction. Did not check us in, let us look first. It was not going to be a comfortable or restful stay with the construction ongoing in our assigned building. We passed.
The coolest hotel I've ever stayed in! We were in the wild west room and every detail was amazing. We got a breakfast delivery basket which was a nice surprise. The staff were so friednly on arrival and really made the experience.
Room was huge, clean and modern. Rate was very comparable to other nearby hotels. The pool are is massive and quite. No hot breakfast which was the only blip. This is now my place to stay when we travel in the Pocatello area!
Convenient to I15. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Had pumpkin spice coffee for the Halloween season. Nicely decorated. They did charge 25.00 for our Cat. Another review in 2022 said it was free.
The most amazing rooms of any hotel I have stayed in. Very funky and super artistic. The attention to detail was incredible. My room was themed the “old west” and was very authentic complete with hand painted murals.
The night attendant was incredibly nice and helpful. Staying with my pet was cheap and easy to add when checking in at 11PM. Room was clean and bed was comfy!
