The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be.
The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be. It is best to visit during the week as the traffic can be very bad during the weekend. Also, avoid Napa during the harvest. To get around the valley use the Silverado Trail Road and not the main road. If you want to visit wineries, be sure to have reservations. We ate at Mustards Grill. As always, the food was excellent, but you must have reservations as the Grill is very popular. It is very noisy. Best time to have lunch is after 1:30.

We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years.
We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years. This trip was a disappointment because you now have to reserve in advance for wine tasting at a winery and they charge enormous price per person, the cheapest was $40 and it went to $85 per person. We understand that all the tastings are now seated since the after-pandemic and this has some plus and minuses. First it is too expensive to go wine tasting in Napa and second it takes a lot more time for a tasting than if you'd stand up at the bar. We might never go back to Napa. It is so sad but the scenery is as beautiful as it has always been.

I loved Napa and will return.
I loved Napa and will return. Although we stayed in American Canyon, I did not mind driving over to downtown Napa. Only 15 min drive.
I really liked the downtown area. The food was terrific everywhere we ate.
Everything! The room was lovely, the staff friendly, breakfast delicious and room / amenities were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and location just perfect. Two blocks from downtown which gave us the opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the short walk to the best restaurants, gift shops and tasting rooms. No worries about drinking and driving if you only stay around downtown area.
What a wonderful place! The inn is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We are so happy we found the Candlelight Inn. Perfectly situated between downtown Napa and the vineyards it was in just the right location to enjoy everything Napa Valley has to offer. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.
The historic room that we had was full of character and luxury. It was a real breath of fresh air having stayed in a few basic hotels during our road trip. Yes it is expensive but it’s a great location, It is a luxury hotel. It’s a shame that there isn’t a bar or catering facility in the actual hotel. But overall very enjoyable.
Location was a 20 minutes walk in to Napa and was $10 back in an Uber. Uber to wine tasting near Yountville was $30. Hotel was clean, modern. Location on a busy road but hotel was quiet/well soundproofed. Nice bar area with friendly bar tender. As there was 4 of us in one room, we missed some outdoor space/balcony.
The Bel Abri Napa Valley Inn is a quiet, clean facility located outside the fray of downtown Napa. The staff was accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. In light of the cost and convenience of the property, we would certainly stay here again.
It seemed newly built—clean and spacious rooms. It is a much better value than staying in the valley. I rather spend $ on wine tastings and food. There are many good restaurants in Napa City. A big step above staying at the Best Western.
Convenient location for walking to downtown Napa. Very friendly and accommodating property manager. Excellent value and unique charm compared to other hotels in the area. Loved the outdoor spaces. Would definitely stay again.
R Inn Napa Staff was very sympathetic! Check-in details were informed to us very clearly. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple, but It was delicious and We were very satisfied!
Good-sized room with comfy beds. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Free coffee; friendly hotel staff. Excellent location - 10 min drive to downtown Napa. Really great room for the price!
The room was comfortable and spacious. It was a short walk to most of downtown Napa and parking was easy and free. I would definitely recommend this for a long weekend getaway.
Quiet location, friendly staff & clean, comfortable rooms. Best bonus = free EV charging for hotel guests (NOT JUST TESLA, also a few Level 2 chargers on-site!)
