We were here for one night on our way home from a vacation to Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. Great place to stop. The room was large, the bed comfortable, & the breakfast had several options. It was the perfect place to stay for our last night on the road.

We loved the Cowgirl museum (free!), Botanical gardens (free!), and Governor’s mansion (free!). Walking around downtown was nice and we had a delicious lunch from the truck, “Noam’s table” which is parked at the Depot ( felafel and other delicious and filling fare). Everyone at the museums was very helpful and friendly.

33rd anniversary to Frontier Days. A whole lot of fun. Rodeo, concerts, great food, and good people. It was fun to play cowboy for a few days. We felt very safe and the locals all treated us with great hospitality.

Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit.
Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit. We took the scenic ride
to the Medicine Bow national forest. What's not to like about
any place in Wyoming. We got pizza from Hambones Pizza which was
very good. Also, several selections from Panera were super. Frontier Mall was full of good stores.

There are a wide selection of restaurants.
There are a wide selection of restaurants. We visited the Cheyenne Biotanic Gardens. It is a great place to view many plants, trees and flowers. Pleasant and peaceful surroundings. The Children’s Village next to the Gardens building is pleasant. Was there on Halloween weekend so a lot of activities for kids were available.
No carpet in room, real blackout curtains. Fridge and microwave not in centre of room, off to the side by bathroom and in closed cabinet. Quiet. Very clean in room and hotel common areas. Luggage trolleys worked well, no wonky wheels making it hard to push. Loved that there was a movable table so my hubby and I could eat together. Usually in hotel rooms there is one little table with room (and only one chair) for one to sit. Lots of plugs for electronics. Wifi was really good
We arrived to a hotel that was still being remodeled, pool was not useable, our room was not ready when arrived, the room its self was clean, with clean sheets. but the room size was small. The TV had maybe 7 channels, the remote did not work. the laundry facilities were broken down. at one point there was about an inch of water in the lobby of the check in office. This place is a dump.
We needed the soft atmospheres and the space that was given. Nice and friendly staff, clean rooms and also very clean outside. So
Nice to walk around the area before the golfers started in the mornings. Only thing that eventually could disturb was the heavy truck traffic nearby. But we kind of not bothered cause the rest was good.
Very helpful front desk gal - much appreciated. Convenient laundry facility and large breakfast room with multiple options for breakfast. Good room with nice bathroom and good wifi. Tres Amigos family Mexican restaurant across the parking lot was a good spot for dinner.
The little old house was very cute in a lovely old neighborhood of Cheyenne. The location was very convenient to the downtown area. The bed was very comfortable, and the full kitchen was a nice added touch. Bathroom facilities were updated and clean.
Comfortable beds, nice-sized bathroom, property is on the edge of town and very accessible off I-80. Very affordable when I booked it, was significantly cheaper than most hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful.
breakfast was very good and very friendly staff to help. the food was what we would expect and just fine for all of us to enjoy. the room as clean and easy to find and not crowded, the coffee was hot and good
The breakfast was great and the location of the hotel was excellent. From the hotel, it was easy to get to places around the Cheyenne area easily.
Hotel room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.
Safe location, clean up-to-date rooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff. I stay here a lot for work. It’s expensive but I come back because best hotel in Cheyenne for work/traveler stays.
Friendly helpful employees. Clean and fresh room. Very comfortable stay. We had rooms in competitor hotels the 3 previous nights, This Comfort Inn was by far the best place.
Was looking for a hotel with some character and the Plains Hotel definitely has it with its location in historic downtown Cheyenne and age/history of the building itself.
The place had great bones and pedigree was a little tired but authentic and the rooms had all you could ask for..SO MUCH BETTER THAN A BEST WESTERN OR FRANCHISED HOTEL
The breakfast was really good and the lady there was very friendly and nice. I like the location and the room was very nice. I liked the swimming pool as well.
The breakfast was really really good. The staff was amazing and so friendly. The room was clean and we were provided extra towels and blankets when asked
