Ever since a problem was encountered on Apollo 13, Houston has been an international household name. The 4th largest US city, it is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center where Mission Control is located. Of course, this is not its only claim to fame. This is Texas after all, where everything is big.
Houston’s Reliant Astrodome was the world’s first indoor sports stadium under a domed roof, and the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas. The city’s Livestock Show and Rodeo is the largest in the world, and the JP Morgan Chase Tower is the planet’s tallest 5-sided building. The list goes on.
Amid the skyscrapers of the thriving CBD is the Toyota Center, home of the city’s NBA and AHL teams. The theatre district is also in the downtown area, whereas the museum district is concentrated to the north-east of Hermann Park, home of a boating lake, nature reserve and miniature railway. Also here is Houston Zoo, and just west is Rice University, one of several in the city.
The bohemian Rice Village is popular with students, as are the city’s historic pubs and leafy parks. Houston also has no shortage of restaurants or accommodation options. Those on Booking.com include motels, apartments and hotels near George Bush Airport.
I went to do a procedure in the hospital district.
I went to do a procedure in the hospital district. This hotel is very close and the staff are friendly and accommodating. There are many places close by for food, and shopping as well as 2 grocery stores less than a 3 minute walk. Target 5 minute walk, this is a very convenient location. Also the rooms are very nice, beds so comfortable!

Research an area before heading to a restaurant, even if the restaurant is in an article touting how great it is. It's very spread out, if you want a good look at Houston you'll need a car or a long time in a bus.
Excellent thrift shopping in Houston.

The area that I was in seemed okay, (near Hobby airport) I enjoyed shopping at the Galleria. We enjoyed eating familiar foods, I'm from Louisiana but I live in Minnesota and the food is NOT the same as the south and forget about ice cold delicious, sweet tea!!! But I truly enjoyed the areas and attractions that we were able to see. The weather was beautiful!!!

It's a beautiful city especially the Houston Heights area. Fantastic setting, tons of restaurants/bars
The Hilton Garden was all about location, location, location. It was also a 1st rate hotel with shuttle service that was unmatched
There are so many positive things to say about the Club Quarters Hotel. My husband and I have visited Houston many times, but this was our first stay at the CQ. The location is great if you are hitting up the downtown areas, the condition of the hotel is amazing and the amenities are are flowing. The staff was exceptionally nice, accommodating, especially liked the text-the-front-desk service. We enjoyed our stay, we’re already rebooked for New Years Eve!!!
I am on a road trip across Texas and had no plans to stay in Houston this night, but in the end I had to.
Great hotel, everything was sparkling clean, shower is great!
The bed is so comfortable I almost forgot I had to continue my trip.
The furniture is really nice, gives the room a modern sleek look. This is a safe area, and the parking lot is fenced, so I was calm about leaving my car parked here with a few valuable things inside.
This hotel is exactly what we need for a quick getaway to watch the Seahawks game against the Texans. Our room is very spacious and have a kitchen and small dining table which gave us a chance to eat all our leftovers. The location is superb, very close to the Galleria Mall and nearby beer garden/bars. Highly recommended and we will stay here again for when we visit Houston.
It is the perfect location for an overnight layover in Houston! Located right in the airport, it is accessible either via an underground walkway or a mini subway. The staff was very nice and helpful.
From there, it is about a 25 minutes cab ride to downtown Houston where you can go a have dinner and drinks before returning and refresh for the night
Very comfortable and spacious guestroom. Breakfast was very good. Superior to previous experiences both at La Quinta and other similar hotel chains. It did exceed our expectations, Very modern, provides gym center and laundry facility. Conveniently located to drive to downtown Houston and to reach IAH airport.
Very clean all throughoutt the hotel, thanks to the excellent accommodation staff and very good management. 👍 Breakfast was the best I've had so far in any hotel in Texas.. The pool and hot tub are lovely and complimentary coffee-tea-water all day. I would, and I AM highly recommending this hotel.
If you are overnighting in Houston, this is the best location. You just take the airport train that takes you from the terminals and it stops at the hotel! Grab a skycap (porter) if you have lots of luggage and they will take you all the way there! So convenient!
Flight cancelled by United. Houston was my layover. Called hotel at midnight, came in exhausted with 2 children. They listened to my airport drama that night AND the next morning. Friendly staff who helped us in a tough situation.
I'm a travel agent first time in Texas Houston location was great, apartment was great, was easy access to enter the hostess was very responsive. With my return back to Houston I would very well recommend staying here again..
Halls were quiet. No smoke smell. Staff was attentive. Lobby bar was excellent with a small selection. Hotel is around the corner from downtown strip full of nightlife. Leave and grab a drink from a local bar or nightclub.
We enjoyed the location, in the middle of the Galleria area and convenient to the University and not a bad drive from the airport. Stayed here twice and both rooms were clean and comfortable.
The 1BR apartment is in a small house in a very quiet, nice district of Houston, not too far from the downtown. It is comfortable, very good equipped, we did not miss anything during our stay.
It was the perfect spot for 2 days at Houston. Not too far from Houston downtown and from the Space Center. The neighborhood is quiet. It was nice for my friend and me.
