I created Walden Koh Lanta as somewhere I would want to live. I have travelled the world and know how important accomodations are to your overall trip experience. I wanted to create a space that felt like home. I have said to many guests "this is not a resort it is my 6 bedroom home and I am happy to share it with like minded people who appreciate the peace and beauty of this place." There is nothing quite like living on the beach with an ocean view from your own private deck. Ive tried very hard to add all the little things that I know I would want for a long term stay. Exceptional WIFI (since I work from home), privacy with optional community, free kayaks and SUPs, a beach shower, a way to wash my feet before going into my room, an awning, screen doors to keep any bugs out and yet still hear the waves crashing on the shore. All the little additions make it feel more like "home" that any hotel or resort you will find around. I am thankful every day that I get to wake up on the beach and enjoy the peace of the environment I and my small team have created. I want you to relax, enjoy, decompress, and just take in the beauty around you. If you need anything we are here, but we give you all the space or help you want. Klong Nin offers the same amenities as the more well known areas to the north, but with less traffic, less crowded beaches, and more direct beach access. Plenty of restaurants, bars, massage, 7'11, food carts... Everything you could need is within a short walk or scooter ride away. Also, some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, including the National Park, are a short ride south of the homes.
