Room is really large and kitchenet is quite good equipped. During our stay location was quiet. There is also really comfortable parking. Property is located just few minutes of walking from the city center that is fine if you wish to eat or drink something. You really do not need car.

Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy Esztergom in Hungary and it is very plain in comparison. Being in Slovakia it is a cheaper place to stay or to shop. The centre of the town is very quiet in the evenings with just some dimly lit bars and few places serving food. This part of Slovakia is very run down with many buildings abandoned and in advanced decay. The lanes around the town are despoiled by rampant fly tipping on an industeial scale.AncientFootstepsUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Sturovo is a good value (€) base from which to explore Esztergom. We ended up eating and drinking in Sturovo: drinks on the river at Komp Caffee for the views, good beer at Green Pub, dinner at Casablanca or El Camino. Nice pedestrianised area with lots of other choices! Plus the Vadas thermal swimming pools!

Sturovo (Parkany) has a lot of opportunity for hiking, swimming in the Vadas Thermal Resort , and to eat of course. Try to visit all restaurant if you can !!!

Several windows and a balcony door provided for great fresh air at night, and it was quiet at night. Large bathroom. Staff were friendly, and Wifi was very good. The hotel is well located close to the Danube and the lower end of the main walking boulevard. Good value for money.

Rooms to the frontside provide a wonderful overview of the walkway, both during daytime and the evening. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. In mine there was also a mini-kitchen. I was pleasently surprised to find a nice room with kitchen facilities. As I had my bicycle with me I was glad that I good take it to my room. The room has a very nice balcony which is overlooking Sturovo. Restaurants/cafes are just outdoors. Esztergrom is a 15 min walk away.
