Everything about this stay was incredible. The place itself is beautiful, the rooms clean and functional and the kitchen area cosy and social. However, the hosts were the main attraction. John and Elena were extremely welcoming, and made our stay all the more special. Elena's cooking and hospitality was fantastic, and John was the most wonderful guide. John was knowledgeable about the area and was able to take us to the most interesting places. He was also able to speak English for our relatives who were also visiting from the UK. We were very impressed. Would highly recommend

- the host offered us an amazing boat ride through some of the canals (for a fee, of course); this is a must if you visit the Danube Delta.

We felt amasing at Lebada resort. The food was great, the guys from the lebanse restaurant have been the cutest waiters ever, the both managers had a lovely behavior, the cleaning team also very nice! But the reason why i can t give the max is the fact that the blonde supervisor lady who had a horrible behavior with the employers!! We have seen two scienes really discusting concerning her behavior! If the guys that are working there are from abroad this doesn t mean that you should treat them as they has no soul! Except this supervisor lady' behavior that really gives us a sauer taste, everything was super!!! PS: Ms. Cat boss lady, you are not God on this planet, please treat your employers with a bit more respect!

I really enjoyed the hotel Lebada Luxury Resort & Spa. I stayed there and also ate there. They had really good food. If you stay at a hotel like Lebada they have a lot of boats and it is really easy to get around. We went fishing and went on a boat trip to Mile 23 and to Padurea Letea.

Crisan is a great place to start your discoveries of the Delta. You have channels going in many different directions from there, and you are close to many places where you can spot birds and other wildlife. Please make sure the people that take you on boat trips respect the rules of the Delta. They should not drive fast in the canals, as they destroy the flora and fauna, scare nesting birds and destroys nests. The size of the boat can make it prohibited to access many areas. We saw people breaking the law many times a day, which is frustrating and sad to see. Boat drivers should not go chasing the pelicans. They are already disturbed by our presens there. Please encourage caring behaviour and respect the animals need for distance and privacy. Demand to get information about the rules and restrictions of the place you are visiting.KjerstiNorway - 10Scored 10

From Crisan, placed one hour by slow boat upstream Sulina, anyone can rich the middle of the Danube Delta. And why would you do that? 'Cause it's a pity to miss a magnificent, unreal beautiful aquatic world... A very decent and clean place to do that could be ”Living In Delta” hotel (they organise trips by their boats, friendly staff, clean rooms; also have a great swimming pool).

The food is fabulous, every day a different type of fish. It has its own boats and guides to enjoy the delta. Staff is very friendly. Flexible for lunch and dinner time. The owner is there with you and can help with lots of connections for everything you need. Absolute best. Our regular boat back to Tulcea didn’t show up and the owner took us back at last minute. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful experience. the entire place is a treatment for the soul and body!

An excellent place to relax in the delta, as there is ample space in the garden and a great pool. We also took a whole day tour through the delta, and we were very lucky that a new guide had just started who had amazing knowledge of the birds in the area. Without the guide the stay wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding.
