Getting to the property was a breeze, as it is very well located. The hosts got in touch with me before my arrival, to make sure we could meet and have a quick check-in process. Apart from its excellent location, the property was well suited to my needs, comfortable and adequately equipped. The check-out process is pretty straightforward and I didn't need to worry about wasting time with it, which was really important as I had to leave really early in the morning.

Located in a restored early 19th-century building in the Guimarães city center, the famed Old Town area, Guimarães Studios Lounge offers minimalistic-style studios and apartments. Free Internet access is included. Each unit has an exclusive detail, either classic stucco ceilings, mezzanine floors, sloped ceilings or the 13th-century medieval city wall. They all have a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Guimarães Studios Lounge offers a small restaurant and bar on the ground floor, featuring a frescoed ceiling and a small summer terrace. Guests will also find an old well inside the building. A shopping area can be found in a 2-minute walk. Guimarães Castle is located 820 feet away, and Duques de Bragança Palace is 656 feet away from the Studio Lounge. Guimarães Train Station is 1969 feet away, and the Porto city center is 30 minutes’ driving. Braga city center is well worth a visit and sits a 10-minute drive from Studios Lounge Guimarães.
