The location was super, just a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the dining room - on the top floor - had spectacular views. Moreover, the front desk personnel were unusually friendly and helpful!
Combining contemporary design with traditional Portuguese hospitality, this hotel is located in the village of Nazaré and guarantees stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

A very good experience.

Clean, comfortable & in a good location. Great breakfast & inexpensive parking were pluses. Helpful, friendly & courteous staff.
Oceano is a charming beachfront hotel in the center of Nazaré. Guests can watch traditional Portuguese wooden fishing boats floating by on the horizon from Oceano’s restaurant.

Location was great! Sofia at check in was wonderful. Friendly and professional. Restaurant for dinner was delicious and all staff were super nice.
Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair.
Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair. We have been there three times in the last 15 years. My wife's favorite and dream place. The city is slowly going through a transformation and is becoming more touristy, but we can't judge that hardly since we were always there before or after the season. On the weekends, we noticed a little negatively the many tourist buses that flooded the city for an afternoon.

Nazaré is beautiful.
Nazaré is beautiful. It's a great place to chill and watch the sea. The beach is wide and clean. All the restaurants and bars in the area (that we tried) were great. Shopkeepers were kind and helpful. Be sure to get up to the Lighthouse and check out the Surf Museum. Super cool. It's 2eu to get in and totally worth it. The views up there are awesome. Seriously, I have not one negative thing to say about it.

Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great.
Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great. Gil the manager was amazing with us. In fact my friend left her coat in the closet. When they cleaned the room he found it and sent me messages and mailed it to a spot where we could pick it up. That was amazing.
The apartment was adorable It was perfect for our purposes the view from one bedroom of the ocean was amazing. The view off the kitchen balcony was great and we could see the ocean as well. This is a perfect apartment for two people sometimes for.
I would certainly book that again if I were to be in that area. Thank you

Quaint little town with local vibes, great for a few days visit. It was very chilled and quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Cuisine is mainly fish and seafood, though there are plenty of Italian and meat places. Also choc a block with gelaterias!!! We caught Carnaval and it was fun to see the cavalcade and the locals dressed up.

What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest.
What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest. There were these amazing and huge 20-50 ft waves that arrived in sets located near the lighthouse on the cliff at the North Beach while I was in Nazare. The beach was also very nice and wide both north and south of the lighthouse. The sunsets were spectacular, and I enjoyed watching the sun set while drinking wine and people watching at the little beachside restaurants. I also enjoyed walking down south to the marina and going north to the surf museum at the lighthouse on the big cliff in the town of Sitio. The local bus only cost €1.50 to ride from Nazare (near the central market) to Sitio where the lighthouse is located. The traditional food (seafood) was really fresh and I liked that the tradition of fish drying that is done by the fish ladies was still being practiced.

Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio...
Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio where there are the great surf waves to be seen in the winter months and the very impressive display of surf boards and photos of the guys who've surfed the world's biggest waves in Nazare,
Great location and friendly staff. The hotel room was attractive, comfortable, and clean with a big bathroom and shower. There were 3 comfortable real twin beds as advertised (unlike some hotels in other locations in Portugal which gave a cot for one of the "twin beds"). I was traveling with my mother and adult sister so this was really important to us. The breakfast was delicious with many choices and good coffee. The roof deck was lovely with a beautiful view. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
A cute little flat, small but perfectly formed and with a lovely view, this place has everything we needed for a couple of nights in Nazare. The washing machine was a bonus and I really enjoyed hanging out our wash on the traditional line three floors above the street!
It’s in the perfect spot to explore either the beach or the old lanes. Two supermarkets close by if you want to cook or a wide choice of good restaurants.
The agency team who run the place are well organised and kind.
This was such a great find - lovely hosts and comfortable lodging. We travel a lot and were pleasantly surprised to find this last minute. This place is a gem! The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was the best we had in Portugal - absolutely delicious! (and I'm a picky eater :) We also appreciated the history and the wall photo of the host's parents. The hosts also gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. Nazare is special and so was Sweet Dreams.
Antonio and his wife were awesome. There was a lot of rain and the arrival time got delayed for us. When we arrived our GPS took us a few blocks away from the apartment. Antonio helped us navigate to his place. They showed us everything we needed to know and had a bottle of wine and some muffins on the table waiting for us. It was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. While we were only in Nazare for a day, we did check out some sights and it is worth a stop when in Portugal.
Central location on the Nazare sea front - easy access to restaurants, bars and the beach. We booked a room with sea view and had a nice balcony overlooking the beach. There are additional balconies on the front that any guest can access. Comfortable bed.
We arrived early afternoon so after check in we had lunch at the restaurant downstairs. The sardines and salmon were delicious :)
Both the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly.
In that small hotel I got a lovely room with beautiful old furniture. Everything was very clean. Mrs. Ana Maria is very kind and gave me tips about good restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay and if I come back to Nazare I would stay there again, Finnally I should say that there is a big stair to access the rooms so I would not recommend it to older people (no accessibility)
Exceptionally comfortable and clean hotel with airy spacious rooms. Staff were fabulous and maintained a lovely relaxed environment. The staff who managed breakfast were particularly lovely and did a super job. Pool was a real bonus as nearest Nazaré beach not best for swimming. It was a perfect location for our family's 4 day stay in Nazaré.
A place for pleasant relaxation, two pools on the terrace - for adults and children, there is a warm pool inside. The windows of the restaurant offer an amazing view of the city of Nazare, the cliffs, the beach. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel staff is very responsive, an excellent team. To the city center by car 15 minutes.
We visited Nazare on a whim during a few days in Lisbon. I booked this hotel with a days notice and was really happy. it’s basically the last hotel on the beach before the cliffs, and just round the corner from the funicular railway. Also does a nice continental breakfast which we ate sat in the window overlooking the beach.
Excellent communication. Great location. Very clean. Perfect for our short stay. Restaurants and beach within a 2 minute walk. Easy to find. Will be using home sweet praia the next time we go back as we loved nazaré. Old Town feel about it. Really really good. Probably my best short stay trip. 5 star all round
We absolutely loved our stay in Navarre. By the Beach was a perfect location. Just a few steps off the main drive so really quiet, except for one night but that was not the fault of the hotel. one block away from the beach you get to experience the real Portugal. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
The location was great, right on the ⛱️ beach. We went for a walk to Sitio. The funicular wasn't working to get there. Nobody said Portugal was flat. Very nice old Town. Nazare had many restaurants to choose from. Walking along the beach was nice. Pictures of the room portrayed it perfectly.
One of the best accommodations we stayed in Portugal. Well equiped, heated (super important for winter stay in PT), clean and light.. In the center of old part of Nazare. Few minutes walk to panoramic site and lighthouse. Stairs walk or cable car to the coastline. Thank you for the experience!
The location was perfect. It is walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants. There was no need to drive the car while we were there.
The hotel decor is bright and fun.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of choices. The staff is friendly and helpful.
So close to the beach!
Very quiet but close to local eateries.
We did the walk up to Sitio Nazare . Beautiful town with the Fort and the magnificent north beach of the best surfing waves in Europe....
Great food at Rosa dos Ventos restaurant.
Adorable guesthouse next to beachfront. The owner welcomed us in the best way, funny and professional. Also gave us some suggestions about places and restaurants. I'd definitely spend my stay again here once in Nazaré.
Thank you!
Great Location. Most friendly host!!! Location is the best obe Could wish for. 100m to the Beach, in the middle of lower Nazare, close to the walk up steps to the upper Part. Perfect ❤️
Fantastic location, friendly and easy to work with host, nice place. Was able to get keys early and explore what ended up being one of my favorite Portugal locations.
Hotel Mar Bravo was a fabulous hotel and such a great.location to the brach and amazing restaurants. Very clean, fresh vibe and the staff was wonderful.
