Iloilo City is a nice city, but was very happy with dinner at the Fish Port. Hotel location is okay. However, we have some issues with the accommodation. we booked for 3 people but only 2 towels were provided, had to request for additional bed sheet. The water pressure in the shower was too low and got concerned with the water that came out as it was rusty/ dark. However after letting it flow for a few minutes the water cleared. Had to use the bucket and oversized cup, heated water with the electric kettle and warmed the water in the bucket, completed my very quick shower. LIke I was camping. Just made the most of what is available. Otherwise, it's like an adventure, your attitude of how to handle a situation with what is available to work with. With a little improvement, it's not a bad accommodation. We did not get a chance to go around the city, just wanted to meet up with some relatives.

I always like being in Iloilo City.
I always like being in Iloilo City. As a student in the 70s; I have seen so much progress and development, however, there are areas too where structural plans (overfly) were unfinished, thereby, causing more chaos and frustrations to vehicular travellers; e.g., in Pavia as an example.
I love the Ilongo people of Iloilo; somehow they have a certain gentleness in them, respectful and always willing to help. May I also mention that my favourite are the people of Guimaras. They almost have a different culture from the rest of the places I have visited around our country for the same reasons as mentioned above but just a degree higher.

Modernized and yet still retains the history and the culture. Traffic is reasonable. Food selections and restaurants are impressive. People are still the same friendly, hospitable and always have a warm smile. The beaches are great. Proud to be an Ilonggo.

There is a lot to see in this friendly, clean and enchanting city - innovative museums, heritage houses, wonderful Spanish-era Churches, American colonial era period art deco architecture as well as yummie food and a number of good modern shopping malls and quality hotels. There is also an excellent river walk (Esplanade). I would recommend taking a tour, as the historical importance and beauty of this city can be easily missed as is spread out across on number of districts. Among the museums, the ILOMOCA modern art museum deserves special mention as it is very innovative and features top local artists.

I always love visiting Iloilo city.
I always love visiting Iloilo city. I considered it my comfort zone..from the quality of food, places to stay, malls & of course the wonderful people from all walks of life. A city of love indeed.
The location was pretty central to everything we needed - about a 100m walk to the shopping centre and super close to SM city as well. Richmonde staff were friendly and accommodating, we were highly impressed. The rooftop with the pool was so nice, especially during sunset. Our room was stunning! Very spacious and the bathroom was excellent. Probably the best hotel we have been to in the Philippines (I am Filipino and my husband and I frequent in the Philippines to visit family). Great work Richmonde!
My sister and I stayed at Park Inn for 7 nights. The price is right. I loved our queen room. Comfy bed. The bathroom was really nice. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Always smiling from the cleaning person to the front desk to the people in the restaurant. Restroom for guest in the lobby is Immaculate. Very close proximity to SM is a big plus. I give a perfect 10 for Park Inn. I will choose this hotel again.
Location of the hotel is ideal. Property is very functional, corridors and floors are very spacious, room cold and clean. Staffs at breakfast are very efficient in their role and food is a good quality. Special mention to Mark Anthony, the front office manager for his hospitality.
Love everything in this hotel. We booked this hotel for 2 yrs now to celebrate our anniversary. Comfort, the food, the pool, and the location, we all love it. It adds more that we booked it for almost 50% less the normal rate. Looking forward for next year.
WiFi is available and has a strong signal. Location is perfect for my needs...no need to take a taxi to go shopping or dining. every establishment i need is within the same building as the hotel. Water pressure is good both hot and cold.
The hotel was quite easy to get to from the airport by using the SM City Mall minivan and then walking 10 minutes. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. I asked for a kettle as there wasn't one in the room and they brought me one.
The room/apartament Is in tower Avida 2 a luxury palace with elevators, security and air conditioning in one of the nices áreas of Iloilo city.Volume of room/apartament Is good ,the room Is like at the picture, the air con work Good.
Professional staff and clean room. It seems like the best value for money hotel in the city - the free breakfast is really good. They were able to storage our luggage whist we explored the island so we ended up staying three times!
