Jeju is a feast for the eyes!
Jeju is a feast for the eyes! We visited in winter and I thought it would be gloomy but I was wrong. During our visit, it's perfectly wintry cold under the sunny skies. We visited UNESCO designated heritages (We got to hike the snowy Hallasan!), museums, parks, beaches, and a ton of restaurants! The food was great! Personally, I think the food and admission fees to the places we visited are affordable and really worth our money. We enjoyed our stay in Jeju a lot that we wish we could've stayed there longer. We will surely be back!

We were visiting in the winter, it wasn't busy and we could get around without any issues. The only day which was more difficult was new years, understandable.
The taxi's are very affordable, often it was cheaper to get a taxi than travel by bus (party of 3).
We found everywhere to be clean and plenty of restrooms.
The downside is that the travel information is often not up to date. We ended up booking a guide one day, if we hadn't two of the attractions we had planned to go to were closed (this was not posted in English anywhere) but the guide knew. One was the Manjanggul Cave, which will be closed for a year by the sounds of it.
The KakaoMap app is handy to workout how to get about and really good for figuring out the buses. KakaoT for taxis, we tried Uber too but it was very hit and miss.
There are a good variety of attractions for all ages. Generally speaking it didn't feel very accessability friendly.
It is worth hiring a guide for a day, not only does it remove the stress of trying to figure everything out but they can also tell you much more about the place than you will get from a guide book.

Jeju Island is nothing short of amazing and beautiful.
Jeju Island is nothing short of amazing and beautiful. My time there felt like a dream, and the only regret I had was that my visit was too short to explore all that this stunning island has to offer. The experience and the feeling of being surrounded by such natural beauty and unique culture are truly one-of-a-kind.
Every corner of Jeju Island seems to be a picturesque postcard waiting to be captured, from its lush landscapes to the breathtaking coastline. I was left in awe of the island's natural wonders, from the volcanic formations to the pristine beaches.
The local culture and warmth of the people added an extra layer of charm to my trip. The island has a distinct character that is both inviting and captivating.
As I left Jeju Island, I couldn't help but wish for an opportunity to return soon. It's a place that leaves an indelibl mark on your heart, and I can't wait to explore more of its wonders in the future."

The list of great things in Jeju is long.
The list of great things in Jeju is long. JeJu city is cool and worth a day or two. Take the city bus tours - one does the city and the other cruises around the coastal parts of the town. It's a hop on and off situation. Then get across to Seogwipo - inexpensive bus from the airport - and bask in the joy of being in this magical seaside town. Give it a few days. The food is amazing everywhere and in this fishing town the seafood is simply amazing. A rental car is a plus at this point as many of the best places need some transportation - do the National Park and the lava tubes as well as some of the more remote beaches. On an island that has 16 million visitors a year it's hard-to-impossible to get into a truly remote beach but then again it's a chance to enjoy people watching in a beautiful place- Koreans do selfies and groupies better than anyone and they appear to absolutely love it.
I didn't think that this was near anything, but I found out that the beaches and botanical gardens are just a short drive to the left of the hotel (and they're really popular attractions stops). This place has a good enough distance from them so as not to be disturbed, but also close enough to walk to. The room was spacious and clean, and the view was as expected (amazing), this part of Jeju is naturally quite and the hotel portrays as such.
No complaints about the room, staff, or location. Thanks for a great accommodation!
Location was beautiful and peaceful. Comfortable room and beautiful property garden. Very kind and welcoming property owners, activities and places to visit nearby areas such as the Jeju Unesco World Natural Heritage Center Museum at the Geoumnum Oreum, Candy One, Safari Theme park, Mangangal Cave, Sunflower Farm, Maze land, Stone Park/ Museum, Mini land, Darangswi Oreum (wollangbong) and many more theme parks nearby. Hamdeok Beach, Pyoseon Beach, Udo island and Seongsan stuff cone (Sunrise peak) nearby coastline.
The hotel was on the seafront, on top of a Starbucks and 50m from a cu store. The room was very spacious, really clean. I hadnt expected much from breakfast having read previous reviews, but I was very happy with the range of cereals to help yourself to and easy toast, juices and coffee machine. No complaints for the price I paid, turndown service everyday, kitchen area with kettle, microwave, fridge and some plates etc. Very conveniently located next to the airport. Bed was very comfortable
I like that the hotel is convenient place to the airport, and has so many good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Even there are convenience store across and public transportation is very well accessible. I also like how the front office is very accommodating especially the girl in the afternoon shift. She even recommended us a place to visit in Jeju which is very helpful. Would like to commend her with her service and she even communicated well in English! Very Excellent Stay Indeed 💯
This place has a very interesting thing: it's preserved in time, so you get a 70s/80s like Korean retro vibe. It's interesting because you can tell the owners are preserving it and it's good. It's very clean and the staff was helpful. There's a bathtub and there are big towels (a rare thing in Korea) and it's great. If you're more of a modern-type of rooms/hotels kind of person this is not your place. The location is very convenient considering the places you can go to from Jeju city.
Good location, near to the airport, and you can have an idea why Jeju airport is the busiest airport in the world. Jeju is a big island, so to stroll around it's better to rent a car. Also near to the Dongmun market and the underground mall. By the way, Dongmun was for me the best local Korean market we have been it. The hotel have great facilities, and options for breakfast in a bakery shop located inside. Great ocean view from the room.
Practical when you don’t have a car, just five minutes away from the Intercity Bus Terminal where you can go to travel around Jeju Island easily. Nothing special about the hotel, it’s clean and well managed and you have a really good price for a 4-days stay. I didn’t come during high touristic season but I think the lobby would be more lively with more travelers around. You can take a coffee or some beers with the others there!
Great location for a short stay in Jeju -- close to the airport, and I was easily able to take public buses from a nearby stop only a few minutes walk, or call a Kakao taxi (you need a Korean phone number) if I wanted to get somewhere on the island more quickly. It was calming and quiet -- I had only one roommate each night I was there, perhaps because it's past peak summer season.
The location of the hotel is good. The bus stops are within walking distance and the bus network will connect you to the places in Jeju. Although there are no subway systems on this island, it's not expensive to take a taxi from the airport to Shin Shin hotel, besides the buses. There are lots of shops and eateries behind the hotel.
The hotel is located in the Jeju-si downtown. There are many coffeeshops around. The food places around are mostly local food. Close to the Airport, about 10-15 minutes by car, depends of traffic.
In the hotel lobby there is a convenient store to buy all necessary things like snacks, toiletries, etc.
The employees at You&I Guesthouse were really lovely and helpful throughout our stay! As for the facilities, they are modest but extremely well-located, both in terms of nearby restaurants/bars and public transportation to other activities around the island.
Very modern and clean hotel in Jeju City.
Outstanding facilities for a very fair price. Was one of the cheapest hotels during our Korea trip but likely one of the best experiences.
Great spot to explore the northern half of Jeju Island.
The hotel was very near the airport and so it is very convenient to get to anywhere in Jeju city. The room was comfortable and had most if not all of the necessities. We were given two bottles of water each morning.
It was easy enough to get to the hotel from the airport via taxi. The taxi was also cheap. The location of the hotel was ok though away from the centre of Jeju and the bed sheets were clean and changed daily.
Everything. The Manager Helen was professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and simply awesome. She knows exactly how to provide the best service. She is a true asset to Leo Hotel.
the hotel is in a very nice location with cheap price. the room was also Seaview. This hotel is highly recommended if anybody wants to stay near hamdok.
