Petra is AMAZING, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Wadi Musa itself is a mall place with a few restaurants. Please are amazing and very polite, as in the rest of the country.
The only issue a whole place has is the water - it does not flow well. Hence, the bathrooms need to be used with caution and use very low pressure as the higher one can make it wet for days.
A recommendation for a good restaurant would be Mr. Falafel in The Tourist Street. A huge hug for the owner - Rami!

Petra is a great place to visit as it is one of the wonders of the ancient world. The moment we come out of siq( canyon type rock cut way) and see the Treasury , it has a magical experience. The Petra visit combined with Wadi Rum are excellent combination in souther Jordan- certainly worth visiting.

Stayed two nights but three would have been better.
Stayed two nights but three would have been better. We missed the evening hike due to other arrangements. Overall, great experience. We hired a driver to drop us off for the backdoor hike into Petra. Start early and it is really worth it.

Petra is breathtaking.
Petra is breathtaking. I cannot describe it more accurately. Little Petra is also a hidden Jewel.
The Petra museum is worthwhile to visit.
Petra by night did not meet my expectations (and perhaps of may others).

2023 update if you wanna travel on your own from Amman (not with an agency), best thing is to stay 1 night in Petra and 1 night in Wadi Rum, travel with JETT buses:
- take the 7 am JETT bus from Amman to Wadi Rum, arrive by 10.30 am
- walk around Petra the whole day. Bonus points for staying until sunset.
- take the JETT bus the next day at 11.30 am to Wadi Rum. Spend the day and watch the sunset, stargaze
- chill and do activities around the camp. Take the JETT bus to Amman at 5.00 pm
---
If you can, spend 2 nights in Petra. You can take it easier and you can do more hikes and see gorgeous views
The hotel has very modern rooms and facilities. Every part of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and welcoming all times. Breakfast had a good selection of local food with tea and coffee available. The free wifi was good and available throughout the hotel. Free parking was very close to the hotel. While the hotel was up a hill from the town, with a car and the free parking both near the hotel and near the entrance to Petra it made for easy visiting to Petra at much less than the hotels down the hill. All up a great stay.
We were extremely happy with our stay at the Petra Corner Hotel. Its proximity to Petra and great restaurants was wonderful, and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the dinner buffet was awesome with many options. Zeyad was great and helped us with all our needs. He had box lunches prepared for us, breakfast made when we came down late, and he even took us to a wonderful show, Henna Fantasia, where we learned a lot about Jordanian history and culture along with some lovely dancing. Highly recommend staying here!
The hotel is up on the hill, about 30 minutes walking downhill to Petra Visitors Centre. The distance is made worth it by the awesome views! The hotel has a wonderful common area with big windows and a balcony. The room was small but cosy and the bed was comfortable. Even though we arrived after midnight, it was no problem - we called the number at reception and the receptionist came to give us the key. The hotel arranged a taxi transfer from Amman airport for us. I recommend Al Wadi restaurant in the centre of Wadi Musa.
The hotel is situated just steps away from the main entrance to Petra and in the vicinity of the tourist street, with restaurants and shops. The terrace offers good views over the town of Wadi Musa. The parking lot is ample. The staff are curteous and eager to help, without being pushy. The toiletries are mud based and plenty. The breakfast offers a variety of choices. There are three elevators. At the entrance there is a shoe cleaning station, extremely necessary after a trip to Petra.
The hotel has a nice vibe. The rooms were very clean and pretty. It is at walking distance from the petra visitor center with pharmacies and supermarkets nearby. I liked their buffet options, and it was one of the few hotels we stayed in with a drinking water supply within the premises. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and their bar had local wines which we had been meaning to try since we arrived in Jordan. I personally loved the room decor.
This hostel is a family business and they make you feel part of their family. The room we had (106) was clean, with air conditioner, fridge, private bathroom and TV.
The location is perfect since you can get to Petra in just 10 minutes by walk. They arranged for us the bus to Wadi Rum and also helped us to contact someone in the dessert to hire a jeep tour and a camp to stay(great choice).
The best place to stay in Wadi Musa if you go in budget!
Otaiba was an excellent host. He gave us helpful information about visiting Petra.
+ The room was clean, modern and confortable, with a great view over Wadi Musa. It was awesome!
+ Great location near to Petra Visitor's centre entrance.
+ Nice breakfast to take away for a full day at Petra. The lunch box was more than enough for lunch. They adjusted the breakfast for us. We really appreciated it!.
It's highly recommend and bread value for money
Staff made us feel right at home as soon as we’ve arrived. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Petra visitors centre if travelling via car and they offer free parking nearby.
Rooms are clean and overall very good value if you want to spend a couple of nights in Wadi Musa, recharging batteries after exploring Petra.
Nice breakfast also, much appreciated if you’re planning a long day of hike/strolling in the area.
Hotel clean, Rooms spacious, comfortbale and good eqiupped. Hotel is located about 3 km distance From an entrance to Petra and 10 minutes walking distance to the center of Wadi Musa, where you can enjoy mounth-watering real jordanian cuisine. Breakfasts palatable and with a variety of choice so Everyone should Find sth for himself. Staff congenial and helpful. For a short 2 nights stay IT is definitely worth its price.
Petra Guest House Hotel is located directly next to Petra's Main Entrance Gate making it very convenient to explore the main sights. I had a spacious, clean and comfortable Chalet. Rich and good quality breakfast buffet was available. The hotel has the iconic "Cave Bar" situated in a real cave offering good Cocktails after a long day of hiking. In front of the Cave Bar there's a big forecourt with good seating options.
Great location with a stunning sunset view, short walk to entrance of Petra. We needed a room to sleep 3 people in separate beds and they accommodated - not all hotels offer this. In-room refrigerator and wardrobe was helpful. Comfortable beds, nice furniture. Bathroom was good size, nice/new tile and fixtures, good shower pressure. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very nice overall experience.
The hotel was perfectly located (2 mins) from Petra entrance. It is sandwiched between 2 larger hotels but very nice location. You are able to wake up early and simply walk down the hill into Petra. The value for money was also good. Rate was reasonable for the room and also included breakfast.
Wonderful, clean hotel just 15 minute walk from the gates of Petra. Owners are especially welcoming and will make you feel at home as soon as arriving. Only regret is not staying longer. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a reasonably-priced place in Wadi Musa.
Good hotel in central Wadi Musa. Parking is easy enough on the street and there are plenty of eating options nearby. Wifi was decent and the air conditioning strong. Only a short drive to Petra where you can also park for free just outside the main gate.
Exceptional stay. Lovely stylish rooms. Delicious breakfast and dinner buffets. Beautiful rooftop terrace with views, relaxing hip atmosphere. Short distance to Petra Visitor centre. Very few hotels are as classy and modern as this one on our budget.
Everything was exceptional. The food was the best we ate compared to other hotels we stayed at in Jordan. The fish is amazing! Amir at the front desk was so kind and friendly. He made sure we were accommodated. Thank you Amir!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped booked our onward travel from Petra to Wadi Rum and arranged for us to be picked up from the hotel. Location is close to Petra entrance so ideal location
Very friendly staff, they give us the room even if we arrived very early in the morning.
The staff takes you to Petra and return for free.
The hotel is in the very center of wadi musa.
