Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
We stayed in a suite with a nice sitting room and breakfast area. The bathroom beautiful and very large with a full-size bathtub, shower, two sinks and separate toilet area. The king-size bed was very comfortable. although we would have liked having a blanket. Both sides of the suite opened up to a huge patio/balcony area with place to sit and watch the sunset/sunrise. The hotel staff were, for the most part, wonderful and helpful.
As we left my husband commented he had never met a hotel owner as kind and friendly as Fabrizio. I completely agree. Fabrizio was incredibly generous with offering rides to and from the train station and making sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen staff cooked a delicious (DELICIOUS!) breakfast and were equally as kind and accommodating. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the room comfortable, clean, and charming.
Maison Alice is a modern clean ground floor apartment. The apartment was very safe with remote gates and it appeared there was parking for those who drive. The location is perfect, close to train station and the old town. Our host is very communicative and always available. We were grateful to her for helping us out. If we visit Alba again we will definitely stay here. Highly recommended.
Great location. Excellent price, especially for Alba. Breakfast was not elaborate but well worth €9. Staff was exceptional. They helped me find a rental car for 3 days after online searches yielded no results. a very nice VW T-Cross. Excellent free secure parking. Good elevator. Nice chapel. It is a repurposed Seminary. Fantastic. Bathroom was very spacious.
The hotel staff were excellent to work with and helped us on numerous occasions. We enjoyed the breakfast area and the choice of eating outside or in. The choice of coffee and fresh fruit and pastries were plentiful.
Underground parking was a plus and we also enjoyed the bar area for a quick glass of wine and conversation.
Modern finishes, newly renovated, really comfortable bed, shower was very hot with good water pressure. The apartment was very clean and spacious. location very close to all the great restaurants in Alba. Giorgio our host was very welcoming and provided lots of information on the town, attractions and restaurants.
We were met by Maria. She was a little concerned that we might have parked somewhere where we would be ticketed, so she followed us out to the car to make sure we were ok. Nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic experience.
In addition, the hotel is in a great location for seeing the rest of Alba.
Everything was great and the B & B was very clean and comfortable. The little touches like fresh cooked cake each day was fabulous. It was very close to the old town and easy to find with parking out the front. Alba and surrounding towns were fantastic thanks to an Itinerary supplied by the owner.
The team at the hotel were super helpful: offering suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to eat at as well as catering for late and early check out.
The hotel is short walk away from the main centre Alba and within reasonable driving distances from the exciting villages nearby.
The room and property was beautifully decorated, perfectly laid out, and immaculate! Alberto was an amazing host, with great enthusiasm and tips and things to do in Alba. He was extremely helpful and made great recommendations for dinners, and even made reservations for me!
Great location a few minutes walk to the city center. A well equipped and stocked kitchen. It was nice to have more room than a typical hotel room as well as a nice private outdoor space and laundry facilities. Very secure parking under the building.
The house was cosy and had everything you needed. It was located in the center of Alba and also had parking right outside the house! The host was absolutely adorable and so helpful with everything. We loved this place and want to come back!
Very good place for staying in Alba. Good value for money and very hospitable and friendly host)
You’ll need just a five minutes to get Truffle fair in the center of Alba as well as a free parking close to apartments.
Really nice Appartement with very stylish interior, one of the best I have stayed so far, you feel really comfortable, great location in the center of alba with parking in the court
THE LOCATION IS PERFECT! Completely central to all you want to do in Alba. There is no need for a taxi to get to all the good restaurants, shops and experiences in Alba town.
Great hotel in a very good location. Close to the city center of Alba and close to the nearby wine country. Very good service and friendly and helpful staff. We will come back.
Large, comfortable apartment with everything you need. Very close to the centre of Alba, but quiet and peaceful. The host was super helpful and everything went very smoothly.
