For twenty years, I have chosen to stay in Treviso as a base whilst visiting this part of Italy. It is my favourite walled city, and the canals flowing through it add to its uniqueness. It's location, ease of transport to the other northern cities of Italy (including, of course, Venice) and atmosphere, bars, restaurants and shops make it THE place to stay.

A small town , not much to do. 2-3 days is more then enough to visit downtown.
There is a good connection between treviso central and Venice , the train takes only 30 minutes.
The bad : more foreigners on the street then italian people , looked like there is a big fugitive camp.

Treviso is a delight to investigate and walk around.
Treviso is a delight to investigate and walk around. Lovely history in the area and a short distance to Venice. Treviso region boasts great culinary treats which means food choice and a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Investigation into this gem will not disappoint!

We'd gone through Treviso multiple times but never actually explored it and thought it would be a good idea to make a one-night stop there on our way home from our main destination. Ultimately, we liked it much more than our main destination and, in some ways, it's more enjoyable than Venice. Definitely recommend!

One evening spent in this lovely town.
One evening spent in this lovely town. I wanted to come here for 4-7 days anyway, but this evening confirmed that I should. The town felt cozy despite being cold in mid-November. Many good restaurants and interesting stores. It one of those perfect weekend trip destinations, but I will surely explore the region the next time I'm there.

Really lovely and quiet town.
Really lovely and quiet town. Last year I visited Trevisio on July, then it was little bit more crowded, but not too much. It's really nice place to stay if you want to visit Venice. By train you can reach Venice from Treviso in about 25 minutes.
The old town is really beautiful and clean. In old city you can find may canals with old watermill, curches etc. It is so nice to sit at the restaurant or cafes by the river or canals and enjoy good food or just coffee or aperitif.
By train you can visit also Padua (Padova), Milan, Florence or even go to Rome.
Definitely on of my favorite cities in Italy.
The location is perfect for discovering Treviso old town and the parking space was really convenient bonus. 10 points to all the instructions that were given beforehand :) All our questions were answered before we even got to ask them.
The self check-in / check out is quick & easy as long as you have been to couple of air BnB-s before. It is not a hotel - so if that is problem for you, it's better to find another place.
Also, it IS a historical (meaning adorably OLD) building, so you need to be OK with crooked floors etc
Location to the bus and train station less than 10 minutes walking making it very easy to travel into Venice. Hotel staff excellent, room very clean. and the bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. Only negative was fridge didn’t seem to stay cold and the coffee machine wasn’t easy to operate but would definitely recommend and stay there again. Also .. Treviso a beautiful town and we are glad we stayed there to experience a less tourist location a bit of calm life compared to Venice.
Villa Trevisi was the best place we stayed at in Italy. Check-in was easy, our room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was pre-packaged due to Covid. Our hostess gave us directions to reach Treviso, as well as a useful map. It took about 30mins to walk to Porta San Tomaso, the most picturesque gate into the old city. Treviso has canals, castles, old churches and civic buildings and some good restaurants. If we are lucky enough to return, we would definitely stay at Villa Trevisi.
First, the farm is located very very close to the Treviso airport. It is a nice, quite kiwi farm. It is a lovely place with children and the hosts are amazing and hardworking. It is not a luxury hotel but it is full of love and everything is very clean. The breakfast was nice and homemade. My child loved to play with the dog and the air is so refreshing. After our stay in Lignano Sabbiadoro in a hotel we just wanted to find such a typically Italian place. Thank you for your treat.
The room had good WiFi and was within easy walking distance of the train station and the historic section of downtown Treviso. We also made arrangements with the staff for a ride to the airport with our luggage which was extremely handy for our early morning flight. There was a heat wave and the A/C worked great! There is paid parking available at the facility that you need to reserve in advance behind gated lot.
Absolutely stunning appartment. Christina is a lovely host who truly makes you feel home. The newly renovated appartments are very nice decorated, with high quality products and very nice design. Location is also perfect in the city centre and the location has even a private car park. Will certainly come back on my next visit to Treviso!
The hotel is clean and quaint, with an amazing staff. There’s a bus stop right outside which is an easy ride into the old town and back. There are 2 restaurants immediately adjacent to the hotel and a cafe/gelato shop in the same building as the hotel.
But the hotel’s best feature is the staff. They’re simply wonderful!
Beautiful space, quiet and peaceful and also a great location close to the centre and walking distance from the train. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and a bathroom, lovely design. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again as a place to day trip to Venice but also to spend more time in Treviso.
I really liked the property. It is close to Venice and Treviso. The hotel is quite.
It’s just gorgeous also the service. Really nice and helpful.
The property is under construction and I’m excited to see how it will look like when everything is done.
Thank you a lot for the calm and really nice stay!
Family owned pension with dedicated attention and friendly staff. I felt safe as a solo traveler. Breakfast was nice and owners made sure all was according to my wishes. Located nicely between Treviso and Venice with public transport available to both locations from just outside the hotel.
Location is great. Only 3-4 minutes walking from the bus station, short walk to the town centre.
Hotel has a nice character, you can see it's very old which makes it interesting. Everything was good enough, but nothing was exceptional. Since we only stayed 1 night it was fine for us.
The hotel was within walking distance from the train station.
The buffet continental breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely, polite & very helpful. The double bed was very big and comfortable.
Quiet hotel in a good location to travel to Venice by train or to explore Treviso.
Very comfortable bed and very quiet apartment. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Good layout. Close to the train station and close to the old part of Treviso. Screens on all windows and doors, first time we've seen that in Italy. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is located near a big hospital in Treviso and is not far from Treviso airport (10 minutes by car). The staff is very friendly and helpful, Good hotel for one night stay if you have an early flight.
The hotel has a a good location, staff was professional and helpful. From here you can go easily to other cities such as Trieste, Padua, Venice or even Bologna and Florence. The room was comfortable.
Staff and cleanliness was awesome. Location is bit away from the centre, anyway it was not too bad. Overall it was an excellent experience. Will stay again whenever I visit Treviso Italy
Location is prefect. Treviso is beautiful town. House is near train station. Good base for visits to Venice, Belluno, Trieste.
Alexandro is prefect host. Always helpful and friendly.
Excellent hotel and the food in the restaurant was superb.
Highly recommend staying in this hotel.
10 mins away from Treviso airport which is extremely convenient.
