Bodhgaya is a place of profound spiritual significance and historical importance. It's the very site where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. Visiting Bodhgaya is a transformative experience, where one can immerse themselves in the serenity of the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Bodhi Tree, believed to be the exact spot where the Buddha meditated.
The atmosphere in Bodhgaya is charged with spirituality, with pilgrims from all over the world paying homage to the Buddha and participating in meditation and prayer sessions. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the chants and rituals, creates a deeply moving and introspective atmosphere.
Apart from its spiritual significance, Bodhgaya offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Buddhism through its monasteries, stupas, and ancient artifacts. Exploring the various monasteries, each representing different Buddhist traditions, provides insight into the diversity and depth of Buddhist teachings.
The town itself is charming, with narrow lanes lined with shops selling religious artifacts, handicrafts, and traditional items. The local cuisine, influenced by the region's diverse cultural heritage, offers a delightful culinary experience for visitors.
Overall, Bodhgaya is not just a destination; it's a pilgrimage for the soul. Its timeless beauty, spiritual energy, and cultural richness make it a place unlike any other, leaving a lasting impression on all who visit. Whether you seek spiritual enlightenment, cultural immersion, or simply a serene retreat, Bodhgaya offers an experience that is truly unparalleled.

Mahabodhi temple is a beautiful place to visit. Interesting and fascinating facts of Indian history are really mind blowing while you walk through the temple premises. Being a world heritage site the place is well maintained and disciplined. A sense of calmness, peacefulness and faith will automatically engulf your mind when you spent your time within the temple premises.

One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya.
One day should be enough to go around Gaya-Bodhgaya. Hire a good cab service and plan well. This is more of pilgrimage center (Hindus and Buddhist). Do not miss the cave where Buddha did meditation for six years) Take this opportunity to visit Pawpuri (Mahavir's Nirvana) Rajgir and Nalanda. Historical importance. From there you may travel to Patna and see Takhat Haramandir Sahib (Birth place of Gurugobind Singh) If you have not experienced Langar do have it there.
This leg-Gaya-Bodhgaya, Pawpuri, Rajgir,Nalanda, Patna- you are touching the holy places of four religions originated in India-Hinduism Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism apart from Historical places of Nalanda and Rajgir.

Quiet place with very little pollution.
Quiet place with very little pollution. The pandemic has definitely had its impact. The temples are open only till 5 PM and the lightning of the temples have been discontinued except the Mahabodhi temple. The temples are serene, clean and visitor friendly. Definitely worth a visit of two days.
Truly hospitality and friendly staff. I arrived a little before midnight after quite a journey and they still offered me nice food. The premises itself was very clean and so was my room. Not too big, but all amenities are working and in good order and the bed was comfortable. The location is about a 5 minute walk from the main draw to Bodhgaya: the Mahabodhi Temple!
All in all, also considering its very affordable price class, I was really satisfied with my experience at this hotel and would definitely stay again.
Location --- near the airport (not walkable, but ~ 5 minute drive --- location shown on booking.com map is wrong, actual location can be found at other websites), hotel is very quiet
Transportation --- car available for rent with driver
Staff --- very helpful
Food --- OK
Room --- spacious, comfortable, hot water available 24 hrs, cleanliness very good by Indian standards
Good budget guest house. The room is clean, with a balcony, hot water 24/7. Very good location in Bodh Gaya . In the neighboring guest house there is a restaurant with very tasty food at a great price. The staff helped with all questions, even took us to the station, bought a ticket and escorted us to the carriage. I recommend!
You can feel at your home here. Jay and his wife provide everything you need. I love their hospitality. And one thing is it is abit far from the centre of Bodh Gaya but thats the good thing as i see because you can avoid the chaotics from those places, even though you can walk to the centre from there.
The hotel has clean rooms and the service is also good. It was Navratri week and the menu was vegetarian but the food was tasty and freshly made. The staff was very helpful and always with a smiling face. There is parking available in front of the hotel. We had parked our two cars.
Warm welcome from the staff. Available for any ask. Made us feel home. I would definitely recommend a stay there. Chef there cooked food to our comfort. Hotel is very close to maha bodhi temple as well.
Extremely good value for money, it's very chilled and the staff are very welcoming. Better than some expensive hotels over stayed in.
It's basic but if you're on a budget it's perfect.
This was an excellent hotel in Bodh Gaya - close to the main sites but also set back from the road and quiet. The hotel staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Nice and clean room with very helpful staff. Hotel is located at a walking distance from Bodh Gaya temple so definitely worth trying if you are planning to visit the temple.

It was a wonderful experience. Staff behavior was very good and hotel was so nice and clean. If anyone travelling to bodhgaya and want to stay then this resort is best.
Excellent place to stay in a very tight budget. Good deal with comfortable room. Mahabodhi Temple and other attractions of bodhgaya are at walking distance from here.
Very good communication from the owner! Even arranged transportation to pick us up from airport.. Would recommend anyone who is looking to stay near Mahabodhi temple
The food was amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to Bodh Gaya and highly recommended to anyone visiting Gaya from India or abroad.
