Lovely market town, with some great gastro pubs.
Especially the Queens Head pub at the end of the square. Landlady Anna and the bar staff Eva really looked after us and we had a great dinner there.
Another tip is the famous Scott’s of Stow kitchen shop and their outlet store full of bargains upstairs.

Stow is a very pretty Cotswold village with a range of independent shops, pubs and cafes and a few national retailers. It doesn't take very long to have a mooch around but there are other lovely villages nearby such as Bourton On The Water that are well worth a look.

A very pretty village in The Cotswolds.
A very pretty village in The Cotswolds. We visited Daylesford Organic which is great for shopping and dining. We went antiques shopping in Woodstock and Stow on the Wold. Winchcombe is another really lovely village with nearby Sudeley Castle. The countryside is really lovely and was a welcome change of scenery.

Apart from staying in such a historic place. It was cute, cottage like and rustic. The rooms were cozy and very comfortable. The bathrooms in the room were exceptional. The bar and the dining experiences were wonderful. The staff was amazing. I can go on and on about this property.
Saying in the Cotswolds alone is a bucket list item, but staying in Stow on the Wold, especially a the Porch House was a special experience.
The Crook's location in the Cotswolds was awesome! Such a charming place in Stowe-on- the-Wold with plenty of room for our party of 5. Appreciated the thoughtful gift basket with wine, eggs, and treats from Diddly Squat Farms. Enjoyed excellent food establishments within walking distance from The Crook. Wish we would have had more time to spend there . We hope to come back and stay someday!
The hotel was really nice our room was very big and the beds were very comfortable, the evening meal and breakfast were very good , the staff were very polite and very helpful, would recommend anyone to stay here if visiting places in the cotswolds, will definitely book here again if visiting the area
Good location in northern Cotswolds. Easy to find and a great base for exploring the nearby towns and countryside. 5 minutes from Stow on tge Wold. Lovely room - comfortable, clean and sufficient for our needs. Enjoyed the breakfasts and chatting with the owner. Would visit again.
Brilliant boutique hotel on the main square in Stow on the Wold. It has been sympathetically modernised and has a great atmosphere. Rooms comfortable and well-equipped. Both dinner and breakfast were very good served by friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar area and outdoor area.
Absolutely perfect. One of the few B&B’s in the cotswolds that is not right on a main road, making it a perfect quiet retreat. The rooms were small but spotlessly clean with plenty of storage. Excellent breakfast and dinner, wonderful atmosphere all around.
A spectacular location and an absolutely charming boutique hotel - gorgeous historic structure with all the quirkiness of a building that’s hundreds of years old. Lovely restoration - ever so comfortable and very cozy. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!
Fantastic location, and some amazing pubs and restaurants and walks. Beautiful village Stow on the Wold.
Accommodation a little compact but very nice, although a bit tricky to find when we first arrived.
