Stayed here a few times in last 6 months.
Being refurbished presently.
Large bar and restaurant area but pricey drinks. London prices in Kings Lynn!
Good location for main road routes.
Strange to have someone always at Reception but you have to use a machine to self-check-in. Bizarrely, they have to show you how to do it, too! In this process you have to present a credit card to take a £1 charge for incidental breakages???
Then the machine produce your room card.
Then you have to register your car in another machine to avoid a ticket but the NR (Non- Receptionist) did not explain that this was necessary. I even had to ask how long this was valid: 24hrs.
A receptionist could complete these tasks in moments!?!? What are they paid for?

We were able to walk along the river front and visit the town centre. We visited Trues Yard Fisherfolk museum which was really interesting. Every street in old town had interesting architecture and historic features.

A great place to explore on foot with the beautiful Minster right in the centre, and exceptionally clean pedestrian-friendly streets. Huntstanton, with its gorgeous beaches, is only an hour away by bus. Food options are more limited than you'd get in a big city, but the places we tried (Mem's Kitchen, Bank House) were all very good.

Huge amount of history packed into a small area, easily covered on foot. Beautiful waterfront, old buildings, well signposted. Excellent museums three, and all very different. Plenty of good eating places. Cobbles teashop a delight. Plenty of parking in town centre. Good selection of shops on high street. Very good bus services to surrounding areas.

Kings Lynn is my home town so I am a biased traveller!
Kings Lynn is my home town so I am a biased traveller! Once a year I live to re-visit the town and relatives usually with my campervan. Recently I decided to book a camping hub on the camping site. There is so much to see both in the town and nearby attractions at the coast and forests particularly Sandringham and Thetford.

Kings Lynnn is an interesting town with plenty of open spaces and a good selection of chain and independent shops. It is well locted for visiting the seasisde resorts along the North Norfolk coast and The Sandringham estate.
The hotel was above expectations - as it was one of very few places left with vacancies in West Norfolk. Staff went out of their way to help and showed some flexibility, the room was really good with everything you need and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was good (though always prefer if it's included in the price, it was still reasonable). Dinner choices were limited basically to bar fare and Kings Lynn generally has a limited offer for fine dining. But it was fine and we were both tired and hungry after our walking.
Friendly staff. The 3 bed lodge we stayed in was beautiful and the lodge we stayed in had a ensuite bathroom for the master room, it was spacious and spotless. They have fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine&dryer, oven, microwave, crockery, utensils. Close to town centre and amenities around 10 mins drive. Very cosy and relaxing environment. There were a big group of us that stayed in 3 lodges and we all had a great time. Thank you Kings Lynn!
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and they would also do combinations that were not on the menu. Our room was on the second floor and with no lift there were quite a few stairs to climb, but we had a wonderful view from our windows of the river and beyond and our room was a very good size with all you could want and more.
The historic area of Kings Lynn where the hotel is positioned is very interesting, a real hidden gem to explore.
It was really tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard. The room layout over 3 floors worked well for us. It had everything we needed for our stay and was walking distance to the town centre. It had a designated parking spot and the main route in and out of Kings Lynn is easily accessible for travel to other parts of Norfolk. Communication from the owner was excellent.
I loved the interior of the property ... the host were very helpful with the wifi issue I had ... the apartment was very clean and visually satisfying ... aswel as comfortable... perfect location on a minutes walk away from the town centre yet quiet enough to believe you were away from the hustle and bustle ... very satisfied with every aspect of my stay
location in the centre of town was outstanding especially for my 86 year old mother who has mobility issues . The extra facilities such as lounge and the viability for in-hotel eating for all meals was great. I really liked Kings Lynn and would visit again . The free 24 hour hotel car parking was a bogie too ( free as we stayed for 3 days)
The Globe is located within the historic district of King's Lynn. As such, one can walk around the town, and see some remarkable pre-Georgian and Georgian buildings that still exist. I also love it for it still being a port; the heritage that the town continues from the days as being one of England's Hanseatic ports of the 14th century.
This was a last minute booking as the original room fell through due to boiler issue and i am so glad it did. This was the best room my wife and I have stayed in. All facilities excellent, large room, clean bathroom and amenities. If we ever return to Kings Lynn we will definately book this room again.
Location is close to Kings Lynn Town Centre. Rooms were good size, clean and beds very comfortable. There's a modern communal kitchen and garden attached which is a nice feature. Coded door entry system novel and worked very well for us allowing unrestricted access.
Perfect location. Close to the town centre and close to railway station. Hunstanton is a short drive away for people visiting the area. As we are from king's Lynn we just needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights whilst work was being carried out at our home.
Good location for town centre. Staff exceptionally happy and chat and mostly tried to be helpful.
Restaurant in hotel was nice food and cocktails good.
The chap on afternoon reception was by far the most helpful one there.
The breakfasts were copious, and tasty. The staff was friendly. The room was lovely - though very warm during the heat wave! It was a great location for seeing King's Lynn, Castle Rising, the Great Ouse and the sea.
Beautiful bed and breakfast hotel. Clive was a lovely host. Breakfast was very good and The Old Rectory is in great walking distance next to a nice park which leads to the centre of Kings Lynn.
As a returning customer I would recommend the very nice hotel.
Good clean and comfortable rooms very good food and there are great deals to be had if you book in advance.
