Small town vibe. Very vibrant and l enjoyed the delicious cuisines. I don't like the fact that everything shuts down at 6pm even on a weekend.
The closing time should be looked into, especially on the weekends.

Bit tricky to find town centre.
Bit tricky to find town centre. Cobbled streets are lovely but not ideal for wheelchairs. Nice individual shops and eateries. The park and ride signage remains but is no longer running. Parked in York car park. The exit to town centre is on level 9 but no signage

Lovely old market town.
Lovely old market town. Interesting individual shops, as well as the usual chains.
Lovely river walk with good riverside pub for lunch or dinner.
Interesting castle with beautiful spring flowers.
A theatre with good range of performances.
Older people should be aware the High Street is quite a steep hill.
Lovely town - many nice places to eat.

A huge range of shops and coffee houses.
A huge range of shops and coffee houses. Everything is close walking distance of The Angel Posting House Hotel; 2 maybe even 3 shopping malls, so even if its raining you can shop. Unusual shops, one off shops and designer shops.
Information Centre in the High Street, very helpful and got a map of town and surrounding area within walking distance. We parked outside of the town on housing estate as parking limited and expensive in the town. We walked from there along the river about a mile into the town centre.

Lovely city.
Lovely city. We lived a few miles away until recently, so coming back is great! great shopping area, although covid etc has had an effect on shops.
Love the high end shops, G Live, pubs & restaurants.
Parking is expensive, so P&R is better, south of town or at the leisure centre.

This hotel portrays a high class in all of its advertising...
This hotel portrays a high class in all of its advertising stating that its staff make your stay special. I found the staff rude which is no surprise when the management do not even come back to you after complaining. The MD is no where to be seen despite being copied in on all correspondence. The whole set up needs reform starting from the top. Better places to stay in Guildford than here who will treat you as valued customers.
Excellent hotel, staff very friendly. The room was an executive room, but the room tea & coffee facility very poor.
We would stay at this hotel again when in Guildford.
Hotel Parking overnight was £15, but we did get a £5 bar voucher, so reasonably good value for money.
We had the cooked breakfast which was excellent.
One can only recommend this hotel.
I booked a single room with en suite shower room for a 2 night stay in Guildford. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the power shower was great. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. It was nice to be greeted on arrival at the door. The location was excellent, near to the station, town centre & University.
Easy to check in (even very late past midnight). Friendly, polite staff always willing to help. Easy to add on breakfast the next day even though I had not pre-booked it. Clean spacious rooms, exceptional service from staff. Thanks for a great stay, if I am in Guildford again I will be coming back to this hotel.
very comfortable room, the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.
the breakfast was of good quality and served quickly.
the hotel is set in a lovely location for walking or for visiting Guildford and London is easily accessible by train.
The flat was centrally located in Guildford and within walking distance to shopping, transportation, and restaurants. The check-in process was smooth and staff very helpful. The flat was nice and modern with lots of space. Staff were friendly and attentive. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The excellent quality of food whether it was breakfast or dinner. The spa relaxation facilities. The staff were all accommodating and very social. It felt like a resort more than just a hotel. The exquisite green natural area around the hotel which was ideal for walks in the afternoon.
I had an absolutely beautiful 'named' room. I liked everything. The staff were fantastic in helping me to enjoy my stay. I loved being in such an historic hotel with fantastic ambience. Being in the centre of Guildford was wonderful.
this property was very modern and had a boutique style , was greeted by a member of staff at the reception who booked us in and made us feel very welcome from the start . very well located to Guildford town centre .
The two reception staff with whom I dealt were very polite, professional, courteous. The omelette at breakfast was superb, and the hotel has good coffee. I also like the convenient short walk to/from town.
A lovely hotel in beautiful grounds a short drive from Guildford. Our room was outside the main building but was clean comfortable with a lovely bed and bathroom.
