Quiet village with easy access to St Cuthbert’s Way and other walks/hikes. Short drive to Jedburgh with it’s magnificent Abbey and Mary Queen of Scot’s’ House. Many other historical monuments of interest in the area.

Lovely village with village green, centrally located, easy access to main Scottish Border towns, good bus connections too. Has a pub, restaurants and cafe, grocery shops, newsagents and two take away places.

What a lovely place!
What a lovely place! The only down-side was the busy A68 that runs through it. At peak times the traffic is constant and allowed to go 40 mph through it, why ????? The speed limits in some parts of Scotland are illogical, who decides??

Your questions do not necessarily fulfill the answers I wish to give. For first time travellers I am sure it would be fine but I have known the Buccleuch for a great many years and it definitely needs cheering up!
A really lovely flat in saint Boswells, immaculately presented. The hosts were great and answered any questions I had leading up to the booking, and also provided clear instructions on how to get into the flat. You can really tell the hosts care about the property, putting out breakfast things so you dont need to worry about that when you arrive.
Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Both were absolutely fabulous. Dinner service was a bit slow, waited about 50 minutes for our main course but waitress explained it was due to a mix up in the kitchen and did apologise. Breakfast was amazing, would say the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.
Staff, location , food very good and the hotel is very stylish in a comfortable way.
Our room was a little small and not one of the refurbished rooms.
Travelling with friends and we all had a lovely time.
Very comfortable hotel. Relaxed, old fashioned atmosphere with friendly staff, good food and drink. Pretty garden and beautiful surrounding countryside especially in springtime.
The staff were brilliant. They were run off their feet but still gave great service. Very friendly. The hotel is lovely and comfortable. Food is superb.
