From the spacious wooden terrace you have a wonderful view of the national park and the Brocken. Torfhaus is located in the Upper Harz, in a small usage zone of the Harz National Park, around six kilometers east of Altenau and nine kilometers south of Bad Harzburg. Thus, you can combine the advantages of a quiet holiday in nature with visits to the lively spa town of Bad Harzburg, where there are many restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities in addition to the spa facilities.
